The barbers are hella unskilled and old. Like I had been growing my hair out for 5 months, clearly told em I needed a maintenance cut, bro went ahead and gave me a French cut. And bro didn’t even line it up properly, Like really???

Finally grew a beard 5 years ago. Rotated between a local shop and, in a pinch, myself. I walked in randomly last year and there is no one, including me, I trust more for upkeep than Ula. He's the man, he's my dude. Never walked out unhappy, everytime he treats my face like its his. Awesome spot, atmosphere, and cuts/shaves. Happy to join the ranks of regulars. The renovations are great, the staff is great. Stop by

Recently moved to Forest Hills and needed to find a local barbershop (after going to the same barber in Manhattan for 6+ years). Ascan Barbershop is absolutely great — I was very impressed by the professionalism, care, attention to detail and friendliness. Highly recommend — I will be returning 1000%

I just had my hair cut with Ula at Ascan Barber Shop and so happy and satisfied with the way he did with my hair.. Love this new place very quite and clean… Definitely going back finally found another good barber in hood.😊
