They were able to accept walk-ins no problem and had me in and out quickly. They did a great job with a simple men's haircut. I believe it's cash only but I could be wrong, definitely cash preferred. $25 for a men's cut is hard to find these days, but they did a great job.

There's a reason that this barbershop has been in operation since I moved to the neighborhood a decade ago; I believe they have been in business longer than that! I've been cutting my own hair (of course, the easiest! Buzz cut) for a decade, and finally, I decided to switch gears. I walked in on a Monday afternoon and Yury cut my hair. I couldn't describe the exact hairstyle I wanted; all I could do was show him a photo of a haircut I got out of the country. Yury took 20 minutes and achieved exactly the same, if not better, results than what I expected. Besides his masterful skill, Yury also has a kind soul, continuously complimenting my hairstyle, which is especially helpful since I am uncertain about the hairstyle.

Very pleased with their service. I had a haircut & a hot towel shave for $34. The hot towel shave was very relaxing & the person who did it was very professional. He took his time with both. 10/10 really recommend them 💈 💇 🪒

Been coming here since 1995. All the greats I seen come through here. John, Amy, Nick, ilya. Still a solid staff. Still get my cuts here when I don't cut my own. Fade masters at work. That yury is a classical man.

The Short: With nearly 5 decades of experience under his belt, Yury is a professional through and through. You will leave here feeling new. The Long: Yury's Baber Shop is a place anyone should go to if they want to give themselves a little self-care. You get taken care of in many different ways here, starting with the location. Easy to get to, plenty of parking around the neighborhood, there's the LIRR and two Queens buses, right on busy Northern Blvd. Tthe inside feels like a bright window to that busy world. While you sit waiting for your cut or in the chair, there's always something moving in the mirrors and background, the white tile walls hung with memories and pictures, radio playing dance music... it's really nice being in there. Oh you came to get a hair cut? Well they do a wonderful job for that! Price for a cut lands at $25, pretty fair cost compared to lots of places I've been to. You can show a picture, or just describe what you would like, and from experience I can tell you Yury does a wonderful job at following that. Some barbers will give you an interview. Yury? He compliments your look the whole time, it truly is an ego boost. He is genuinely happy to do this job and proud of his work. You will leave feeling fresh and new. I highly recommend this spot!

Aviraham is the best barber in town. I went to different spots in the neighborhood but nothing compares to his cuts. Definitely will be a loyal customer for life.

Haircut was pretty nice, and matching the picture that I showed. The barbers I go to usually wash my hair in between the haircut to help cut it evenly, but there's no option to wash hair here. I called them ahead of time and there wasn't anyone there at the moment so I was able to get started right away.

I get my haircut from Amy. She is great, haircuts come out just the way I like it. She is quick but accurate. The prices has gone up almost a dollar to two a year. Right now it's 18 which is fair if your haircut comes out nice.
