I’ve been getting a haircut with Joel at Essensial Barber Shop and Beauty Salon since about 5 years ago, before they moved to this new place, new place is beautiful, clean, they always have great music. The guys and gals are very warm and welcoming, very professional, they have parking in the back, I mean this is the place to go, Joel is the best barber around very clean, professional, and even though he is aalways busy, he always makes happen for me. I definitely recommend Essential Barber Shop and Salon, guys try Joel’s haircuts you won’t want to go anywhere else.

I must say it's my favorite place! I dont even have hair. Well he does a great trim of my beard. The only complain is that he has no glass wear when he shares his great whisky with me. Joel, there not that expensive. Is you need a shave a cut or your toes manicured, this is the place!

I’ve been going to Essential Barber Shop to see Joel for hair cuts since 2018 and he’s the best around. It’s been great and I’ve had him try many different styles and he nails each one. My head is shaped a little funny so I need a skilled barber who can get my hairline right and Joel is that guy! And from what I see he keeps skilled barbers and hair stylist around that are not only talented but professional and bilingual. I don’t speak Spanish and I’ve never had a problem communicating what I want. I definitely recommend.

I’ve been coming to Essential Barbershop in Elmsford for over long time now. Joel is the best barber I have ever went to. He takes his time to make sure I leave out of there with the best haircut possible. My son has started coming with me as well and they do an outstanding job on his hair as well. Easy to make appointments and he’s always ready at appointment time.

Very clean and tranquil place. It’s a barber shop and hair salon. They have separate suites for the women’s salon. They even have a suite for nails. The staff is very respectful. Owner Joel is great with customers and handles all types of hair. Shop is in a nice area with free parking. Top notch. Highly recommend !!

Essential Barber Shop is the best! Joel the owner always greets his customers and keeps his salon immaculate. The staff is professional and warm. Plenty of parking in the back. Santiago is our guy. My son and I get our haircuts every two weeks. Santiago is like Picasso with his fades and scissor work. Makes himself available and takes his time.

The shop is clean, spacious, modern and comfortable! The service is top notch, professional and the entire team is warm and accommodating. Joel is amazing! The brother is an artist with the clippers and blade. I leave looking like a new man and the compliments I get about my cut (especially how sharp my beard looks) are too numerous to count! Amazing service, and work!

The Essential cut is consistently an amazing experience. The place is well lit and always filled with music and good vibes. My man Joel, is not only the owner but also an artist with the clippers. I come with my 16 year old very picky son as well as my 7 year old godson and we always leave looking fresh and ready. All the barbers are skilled so feel confidence in that anyone you get will have you leaving looking ready for the weekend. I have seen them work magic on black, latino and white men. Other services include Manny's pedies in a full-service hair salon. One stop shop for self-esteem improvement.
