The barber is always distracted (not steve, the other one), when you asked and showed him a specific haircut he gives you a totally different one. He is always distracted and watches TV while he cuts. If you want a barber that doesn’t listen to you go here🫤 ig. Will provide pictures…

Steve and his team are very kind and courteous. They give great service and are very good at socializing and making their clients feel comfortable. They make you feel like family which is why I keep coming back.

I’ve been bringing my 3 boys here for almost 3 years and the service is always on point… every barber has made my sons feel welcome, comfortable and fresh. They look forward to getting haircuts… Seven cuts my two youngest and is very knowledgeable and detailed. Steve handles my oldest son who he formed a bond with very early on.

Steve and his barber are good solid family men. They are respectful and always have you laughing with jokes. My son and I feel comfortable and safe there. Support this local barber shop!!

I don't know why the guy gave this place one star I'm not black and they gave me the absolute best haircut I've ever haircut I've ever had and at barbershop prices too. Seems like a fake review to me. I typically have to pay extra these days because the old days of paying 10 to 15 dollars are over... But when they charged me 15 with a beard and razor I was so surprised that I gave them a 20 anyway. Love the old school barbershop vibe I missed that back in the day feel, and I love how they have the air compressor makes it so much easier to walk out of there clean. It was busy, but I didn't have to wait too long!! I'm visiting Franklin Square today and will be going back there for a second visit.

Steve @ Upper Cutz is a master at hair styles. I recently moved into Valley Stream and was looking for a local barber. I went to a barber closest to my house and it was a complete mess. They butchered my hair. I came to Upper Cutz where Steve completely undid what was done. He lined me up and made it look better than I ever had my hair done. He also cut my two kids hair. I was very pleased and will definitely recommend all to go here.
