I have been bringing my kid to JP for several years. I found JP after searching for a long time for a barber that can consistently give my kid a good hair cut and that is nice and patient with kids. JP is very pleasant and he can get my kid to sit nicely for the haircut. In addition, he does top notch haircuts. The haircut looks great. However, the real mark of a good haircut is how it looks are the hair grows and my kid's hair looks great as it grows. The shop location is small, but clean and homey. The parking is very accessible. The other fellow barbers are pleasant too. All in all this a a great barbershop.

JP and his associates are the best! Jp absolutely got my hair right after letting it grow out for a year. I keep getting compliments on it too.. 100% will be coming back. If you’re hesitant about what steps to take with your hair, come see these guys down at Jp’s and they will take care of you. 100/10 EDIT: NOTE THAT THIS SPECIFIC GROUP OF BARBERS has only been here for 6 months about I think so any reviews from years ago do not apply to them.

This was my first time getting a cut from Shawn, and I honestly couldn’t have had a better experience. From the start, he was professional, welcoming, and took the time to ask questions to make sure he understood exactly what I was looking for. He didn’t rush the process at all and paid close attention to the details throughout the entire cut. The end result came out clean, sharp, and exactly how I wanted it, which made it clear that he takes real pride in his work. As a first-time client, I felt comfortable right away, and I’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for a skilled barber who listens, is consistent, and delivers quality work, Shawn is absolutely worth booking with.

This is the worst barbershop in deer park. And there are a lot. Even before they remodeled the whole place, this barbershop sucked. No one ever cut my hair the way it should be cut regardless of who was there. Most of the time the place was closed, and for good reason. No one could cut hair. I’m gonna make my point soon. Now that the barbershop has been remodeled, they have new barbers there, makes sense, but they can’t cut hair either. Even the owner screwed up my hair. Then another barber really screwed up my hair to the point where I came back and met him outside and physically showed him how he screwed up. He fixed it, but even he couldn’t believe how bad he cut. And guess what, he’s still there. I’m petrified. I won’t even give the other barber a shot. No way. I care how I look. If you missed my point in this review, its this. It doesn’t matter how beautiful the barbershop looks or the vibes it gives off, or how nice they are. At the end of the day, you’re the one that has to look in the mirror daily. Question is, do you like what you see?

I’ve been going to JP for many years his barbershop is the best in town. They are very family friendly and welcoming. He’s always on time and always delivers an elite haircut. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone even if he’s busy he has his staff that’s ready and willing to help.

This place is incredible. I’ve been searching for a reliable barber for years, and I think I finally found one in my area with an amazing atmosphere. I happened to stop in after leaving a nearby store, and they welcomed me right in as a walk-in. Both barbers were professional, knowledgeable, and even gave me helpful tips on how to manage my hair. They were also polite, friendly, and made me feel comfortable with great conversation. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I had an amazing experience at this barbershop! The shop was clean, the vibe was welcoming, and the service was top-tier. My barber took their time on my two sons & nephew, listened to exactly what they wanted, and delivered the perfect cut. They left feeling fresh and confident. Definitely my new go-to spot — highly recommend! Great with kids too.

Rafael is an exceptional barber. His attention to detail is unmatched and he takes his time to make sure every cut comes out clean and precise. The shop is welcoming, the service is consistent, and you can tell he truly cares about his craft. Highly recommend booking with him.

All i have to say is AMAZING!!!! JP is not only a great barber but a great person!! I bring my two sons ages 8 & 9 to get their haircut by him and everytime is always a pleasure! My boys never liked to get haircuts but enjoy coming to him! We always have a blast everytime we come to the shop, good vibes and good conversation, JP is so caring always making the boys laugh and feel comfortable. I’d never take them anywhere else! All around 10/10! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :)
