I first saw Sarah in September 2024 and she completely transformed my hair. Curly-haired folks GO HERE. SERIOUSLY. Sarah is amazing in every way: incredibly talented, a total pro, and just so lovely to talk to. For years, I was paying comparable prices for basic, forgettable haircuts. My first appointment with Sarah took nearly 3 hours because my hair was in rough shape, and she took her time. She started with a dry cut that made me completely rethink what my curls should look like. Then came a great wash and blow dry, followed by a super simple hair care routine I’ve actually stuck to for the first time ever. After years of trying every curly hair method under the sun and spending $$$ on products, she finally gave me a plan that worked for my hair and my lazy lifestyle. Now it’s May 2025 and my hair is the healthiest, bounciest, and happiest it’s ever been. I haven’t blow dried it once since seeing Sarah (I used to do it 3+ times a month). My curls look better air dried than they ever did styled. I just had my second cut with her this April and I’m having some of the best hair days of my life. Thank you, Sarah!

Best barber shop in Brooklyn. Sarah is a master with scissors. She cuts my hair to my head shape and the perfectionism is on another level. Her haircuts last me months and the way they grow in is unbelievable.

I first came to see Sarah at the prior studio she worked at. I was recommended the place by another hairdresser of mine as it’s in my neighborhood. I called and she sqeueezed me in and left with a great haircut and some good tunes in my head. Then I saw her twice since, including the haircuts my best friend and I got for his wedding. Sarah dedicated a solid 2.5 hrs for us and was incredible. Sarah is truly an artist and a craftswoman at the same time. The former shines through in her vision and designs / ideas, and the latter in her execution quality, speed, and top level skill in using her tools. The results are always excellent. She’s also rly friendly, has great chat and great music, offers beverages in the studio, and is an all around great human! Highly recommend. A+ 5 stars!

Sarah is amazing at what she does. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my haircut and specifically my beard trim since I started going to her. Her studio is clean and comfortable (always good music on!). In the past I’ve had trouble finding someone who gives a good consistent haircut and I’m so happy to have found Sarah so haircuts don’t need to be a source of anxiety anymore. 10/10 would recommend Sarah.

Sarah is probably the best hair stylist I have been to, and I have been to a few. From day one she knew what would work best for me and has always been spot on. You can sit through a cut with complete trust knowing the result is going to be excellent. Her skill, attention to detail and sense of style are top notch. She also provided great recommendations for hair care and styling products and the results have been amazing. Also she is super cool and it’s always great fun to catch up with her.
