I’ve been going to Mark for my last two haircuts and couldn’t be happier. He’s incredibly kind, personable, and you can genuinely tell how much he cares about his craft. Mark takes his time, pays attention to detail, and makes sure you leave feeling confident with your cut. The barbershop itself is beautiful- very clean, upscale, and welcoming- but what really stands out is the quality you get for the price. It’s surprisingly affordable compared to other spots in Williamsburg, which makes the experience even better. I’m beyond happy with my cuts and will absolutely keep coming back to Mark for as long as I can. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone who truly cares and consistently delivers great results.

I’ve been going to Mark for over 5 years, and he’s consistently delivered top-notch cuts every single time. His East Village shop was nice, but the new Domino Park location is next level — it’s both modern & welcoming, while being a comfortable place to spend some time! Even the few times where I’ve needed a last minute appt and Mark was unavailable, his other guys have always done a great job - You’re in great hands here no matter who is giving you the cut. I’m incredibly particular when it comes to my hair, so I don’t hand out compliments lightly - these guys are THE BEST! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable barber and an all-around enjoyable experience.

I’ve been a happy customer of Mark’s for over a decade; this is his second location—and it’s just as impressive as the first. The service is impeccable. Sometimes I stick with my regular cut, other times we play with new styles, and it always turns out exactly right. The barbershop design is modern with great attention to detail, and the relaxing house music that really sets the vibe. Feels like a living room. You can tell a lot of care went into creating the space and the experience. Highly recommend—definitely worth hopping on the train from Manhattan to check out this new location.

I’ve been getting my haircut from Mark for close to a decade now and it’s rare to find that kind of consistency and trust over so many years, especially in NYC. Domino Park is very lucky to have On The Mark in the neighborhood. The new location is a perfect fit for DP: polished, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with a top-tier sound system and the same high level of service he’s delivered for years in the East Village. Mark runs a punctual, professional, and upscale shop with great energy with a space that is always clean, music is on point, and booking appointments is seamless. Most importantly, Mark keeps his standards extremely high. Every barber in his shops are skilled with both clippers and scissors, and even when Mark has been unavailable, I’ve gotten excellent haircuts from other barbers every single time. When I first moved to Long Island City, I bounced around to a bunch of barbershops and always felt like just another walk in, but the moment I entered the East Village shop back in 2016 I knew it would be my haircut spot. Although I have moved to Westchester I still make my way in to get my haircut. It’s rare to find a barber shop that delivers this level of quality so consistently. Highly recommended.
