I can't say enough about this shop; overall wonderful experience every time I go. AntonyBlendz is a true legend at the shop. His precision and care is shown through every visit. Not only will you leave the shop looking fresh, you will go with lots of laughs and good vibes. Same goes for every barber in that place. Simply put, Kay runs the best shop in BK. You will not regret giving it a visit.

Advertises being open to 8:00 p.m., but I arrived there at 6:00 p.m. and attempted to enter but the doors were locked and the woman shooed me away without the courtesy of an explanation as to why they were closed at 6:00 p.m. *Reply to owners response - no it was not the wrong location, I don't even see any others in Bay Ridge but I went to this location at 8813 3rd. Perhaps that's why the woman seemed surprised and didn't say anything. Perhaps her boyfriend, the barber, was teaching her how to cut hair on your dime. But I know where I went. *Reply #2 - So you are confirming exactly what I said, the barber was teaching his wife how to cut. But you still keep blaming me. First you say I was at the wrong location. NOT. Now you say this was after hours and the closed sign was on the door. NOT!! I arrive at 6pm. You could've simply apologized and I would've deleted the review. Either way I left my house and walked to your shop and it was closed 2 hours early and you're telling me I'm the one confused.

Hi, thank you for sharing your experience. For clarity to future customers:<br><br>At the time you arrived, the Closed sign was already displayed, and the shop had officially ended services for the day. When we are closed, the door remains locked, and staff are not required to reopen or explain after-hours — especially when we are short-staffed.<br><br>Additionally, the barber inside was privately teaching his wife how to cut his hair, which is a personal matter that takes place only when the shop is closed and no customers are being served. This may be what you witnessed, and it can understandably look confusing from the outside, but it does not mean we were open for business at that time.<br><br>We always welcome customers during our regular hours and pride ourselves on customer service when the shop is open.<br><br>Thank you.<br>

Been getting a cut here for about 8 years, worth the trip everytime. Outstanding shop, everyone is great. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in the city.

Best barbershop in Bay Ridge, best shop in brooklyn, all of New York. All the barbers are amazing been coming here for 4 years, never got a bad cut and was always satisfied with my haircut. Really recommend this shop, will always have you right and never honestly ever had a problem. Amazing shop really, people should come try them out!!

Master Kays provides excellent service for their customers, polite respectful and very skilled barbers. Prices are very good with high quality. Music is calm and nice. I have been going here for few months now, just got another fantastic haircut from Antony, he’s a pro. Other barbers there are great too, great vibes, friendly, respectful and positive energy. I would highly recommend Master Kays if you want to look sharp. Always will be a great experience for me without a doubt. The best in NYC!!! *Also, FOR YOUR INFORMATION, the business hours is on the door there, Monday-Saturday: 10am-8pm Sunday: 11AM-5PM. Holiday hours may vary.

Best barber in the city, hands down. Always consistent, professional, and detail-oriented. Works strictly by appointment, which keeps everything smooth and on time. I walk out feeling sharp every single visit. Highly recommend!

I don’t live in Bayridge but I drive out here just for Master Kay’s Barber Shop. I have been to so many barber shops that just get it wrong but since I’ve come here it has been AMAZING!!! First off they pay attention to detail making sure you leave very happy with the way you look. Walking in to Master Kay’s you are not just another client you are more like family. Price is very fair and the cut you get will definitely be the best you ever get. The barbers themselves are great guys. I’ve had both Jonathan and Antony cut me with Antony being my main guy and Jonathan my kids main guy and truth be told these guys are gifted at what they do. They take pride in it and I appreciate that. I’ve watched Kay do his thing when I’m on that chair too and he’s just as good. Realistically speaking any barber you get in that shop will do right by you. The vibe walking in is always welcoming. They are smiling and happy to see you. Like I said you are family. Even if you are not a regular they treat you as one so they truly understand what customer service is. I am happy to say that I have found my shop for life. My kids have their shop for life. Unless I end up moving to a different state, Master Kay’s is now home for me family and some of my friends… pretty soon to be all of my friends.

Walking into Master Kay’s barber shop at any moment of the day gives you the same euphoria you feel when you reach your home. Nice, clean, friendly & warm environment for you to receive your haircuts & wait in. The barbers in shop are very informal, helpful and attentive when it comes to question & detail. Any request you make is always accommodated, well mannered barbers bringing your dream look to life. My personal favorite barber? Anthony is always a reliable when it comes to outstanding skin fades, blends and any request you make.
