I asked for a fade and the kid really had no idea what he was doing, he didn’t even have a mirror to show me the back and when I got home the back side was done horribly. I had to go somewhere else to get it all fixed. A 10 minute clean up turned into almost 1 hour.

My first time here today. My scalp is SO HAPPY to be free from underneath my rug of thick hair! 😂 This is a huge barbershop! I was surprised they had so much space. All Dominican male barbers, I did not see any female barbers unfortunately. The huge shop was clean (there was a lot of hair on the floor when I got there but was swept up while I was in the chair), I appreciate the uniformity of the vests with their names embroidered on them with their matching chair cape. That is a nice touch! So I sat and watched for a while (maybe 7 mins) to see how things go in there. No one ever asked me anything & I was completely unsure how things operated there. So I eventually decided to walk to the back & ask the barber Carlos who’d finished & was available, to cut my hair. Carlos was kind & professional. He used fresh nitrile gloves, which is great because some people don’t! I just got my sides and back taken down since I have an undercut. He listened to what I wanted and kept checking with me about the length. The cut was $25 plus $5 tip. We exchanged numbers and he did call me beautiful via text which was not cool. I told him it was fine to call me by name. I def didn’t like that & made me uncomfortable. Some may say “it’s a cultural thing” but idc. Treat me like a male client. All in all, I doubt I’ll be back. But it was a decent experience & I’m thankful for the cut! I paid Carlos via Zelle. There is an ATM in there but I asked him if it was cash only & he gave me the digital options which I REALLY appreciate! The service with him didn’t make me uncomfortable. He spoke a few words in English so knowing a bit of Spanish was def helpful lol. Overall, it was the crucial missing details that ensure the safety of everyone, especially the clients that earned them a 3. I just can’t get past the empty disinfecting containers! (I forgot what they’re called.) some barbers even had combs in the empty container!! Reasons why I gave it a 3: 1. Looking around I noticed that only ONE barber had the disinfectant liquid you’re supposed to have in the clear container for your tools. Including the station I was at. 👀 (They soak in there while not in use.) That was unnerving. He did spray his clippers with the barbercide disinfectant tho so I didn’t leave. 2. They don’t wipe your head with alcohol or any type of disinfectant after the cut. No oil sheen, no neck brush, no mirror to look at the back of your head and check the cut. (He told me he could take a photo and show me. 😮‍💨🫠) nah. I passed on that. I have a hand mirror at home. 3. No one greets you when you walk through the door. Not even a head nod. Even a hi would’ve been appreciated from…anyone! If your station is by the door, then it is your job to say to the clients and ask who they’re waiting for. Too bad. You’re the face of the business. The first person ppl interact with - deal with it.

This is by far my favorite barbershop for my boys. I've been coming here for the past 2 yrs .Brielyn is awesome, and he always works with me. If you don't have an actual person, you want to cut your hair the wait, maybe long. His communication is great. He lets me know when he's on vacation, running late, etc....

This is a very big barbershop. The shop is kept pretty decent. My son has been getting his hair cut here for years. The barbers are very nice and friendly, and have many returning customers. Juan does a very good job. Only downside is the patrons smoking drugs in front of the establishment. The fumes had my head hurting. I think the owner should stop this from occurring its very bad for business. It's not fare to the children or other non smoking customers. In fact it makes me want to look for another establishment.

I had high hopes for this place. With all the good reviews, I was hoping I’d find a new favorite spot. I wouldn’t say they were rude, but the guy was on his phone all the way until the cut, then he proceeded to ignore me for the rest of it. I asked for a cut on the side and a trim on the top but he cut the top of my head and undid the growth I had put in for months. Now I have to set over. Then he proceeded to charge me $18 for the $15 haircut and added his own tip. Not friendly at all and f’d my head.

All of these dudes are super friendly and proficient with a variety of hair textures and styles. The atmosphere is relaxed, jovial, and fun with a coin-op billiard table and other features. Also the prices are competitive. Come here if you want to pay $15 for a professional-level fade.
