I sent my son to get a taper fade by his school and they didn’t do anything better than what I could have done at home. I was very disappointed and they played on my son’s head top literally. I rather the barber say he didn’t know how to do it than waste our time. He had picture day the very next day. I had to do a last minute appointment at 8pm to get him right for the next day. Pulled him out of after school for that bs. It’s a great location and they could have a lot of customers if they know what they are doing.

I drive one hour from NJ to get my son's haircut from Levels. Lionel takes such good care of us, I would recommend them to everyone.

My husband walked into Levels on Fulton Avenue to get a haircut and was told they only go by appointments. There is No Website nor Sign on the windows that says By Appointment Only. An open Barbershop that takes no walkins how sad.

It’s interesting how most of the negative reviews or complaints come from women who aren’t even the ones getting their haircuts at the barbershop.

My only true barber!! I love this place. Everybody is amazing. Cam has been cutting my hair for years and NEVER disappoints.

The place needs to have an entire paint job. The bathroom is not kept clean. The barbers use fowl language all the time, and the music is very loud. It's more like a hang out party shop. I had to stop bringing my sons to get their haircuts there.

Very professional. I appreciate that the barber took his time to cut my hair the way I wanted him to. I would highly recommend and will go back again for another cut.

Brought in my seven year-old and five year-old on a Saturday morning. The five year-old went to Will’s chair, and we asked Will for a mid skin fade. The seven year-old went to Dame’s chair, and we asked Dame for a high skin fade. I don’t know what gentle magic Will and Dame used, but the boys were relaxed and patient throughout the entirety of their cuts. Both Will and Dame were exacting in their precision and attention to detail. The boys came out of the chairs looking like movie stars. I got to see Lionel’s work while I was there, and he does really great work as well. The only thing I’d do different next time is book an appointment in advance. There’s a reason the barbers at Levels are booked up for most of the weekend.

Came in Saturday evening and asked the gentleman if there would be a long wait...barely got the words out of my mouth when a man who was outside on his break sprung into action and got me into his chair. Got a crisp line up for my night out and was in and out of the shop in around 15 minutes. Pretty sure everyone there is capable of doing a terrific cut but Lionel is excellent. Highly recommended spot to get a cut whilst listening to some bumpin’ old school reggae.

My son has been going here since a little boy. It's clean and the Barbers are respectful. A single mom can bring her son here and feel welcomed. Great customer service and there is plenty of seating and it's kept clean.
