As someone who gets nervous about anyone cutting my hair and messing it up, I did a lot of research, and I’m so glad I found Lana. She is super friendly and kind, and she took the time to explain what she was doing, how she was doing it, and why, which immediately put me at ease. The result was exactly what I wanted, and her pricing is great. Highly recommend.

Special place! Neighborhood is lucky to have this place- this gem! Being here felt like a warm hug, very cozy vibes! I had a haircut done elsewhere (unfortunately)very poorly. It was a disaster they butchered my hair(all uneven etc) making it embarrassing for me to go to work. Lana is a miracle worker who came in like a true rescue operation and salvaged my hair!!! She went above and beyond- true professionalism and I felt so at ease and relaxed in the hands of a true master. I would stronglyrecommend this place to anyone. Thank you so much for all that you do and the service you provide to people!!! Very grateful. Its so rare to find a place where when you walk in you feel completely at ease, breath of fresh air and know you are in the hands of a true master and professional!

Switched to Lana’s shop after getting priced out of another local barbershop. I liked everything about my experience with Lana. Great haircut and a nice conversation. With my past barbers, it’s often felt like they were rushing to get through my cut, but Lana is methodical while also being expedient.the cost was $29 before tip — less than half of what I was paying before. This is of those rare experiences where you pay less and actually get better value.

Lana is a very personable and down to earth person. She's been here for > 30 years and is clearly very experienced. She took her time and care on my haircut over about 30 minutes total. Prices are VERY reasonable. Cash only, but let it be known that she made sure to inform me of that when I called to make an appointment! Will definitely be coming back here for all future haircuts while I live in this area.

Lana cut my hair since I was a child, I lived at 521 Henry for the first 14 years of my life. After I moved to Jersey I fell out of love with the barber experience. I've gone to the fancy places, got the premium cuts, but nothing will compare to the feeling of being at that classic feeling barber shop. I'm 30 now and still think about how cozy her business made me feel. If you're in the area and looking for a cut this is the place to go! Take it from a local!

Lana is great. I take my two small children there and they actually sit through their haircuts. Lana is friendly, does a great job, and is reasonably priced.

Great haircut every time. Make sure to call to set up an appt. Can usually do the day of or next day. Lana is very punctual, does a great job with my hair, and so kind.

Lana's is the best! I spent a long time looking for a barber in the city who is established and I trust to do an exceptional job every time. Lana has been cutting hair here for close to 30 years, and stopping in for a trim is always a joy. Since I first found the shop I've been commuting from Crown Heights whenever I need a haircut, and Lana's is absolutely worth it.

I've been going to Lana for more than 10 years. I now take my son to her. If you want a great cut, at a good price - visit Lana's. Wish I could give more stars.
