SCAMMERS. They're running a side hustle gouging citizens at JFK. One of their drivers approached me in the terminal and offered a ride (yes, I should've known better). The guy charged me almost $70 from JFK to the Hilton Garden Inn JFK. The address on my credit card statement for the merchant comes back to Karlo's Barbershop. I spoke with them on the phone and they seemed to indicate that they're definitely affiliated with Franky Luxes (this is the company shown on my Amex bill). Again, SCAMMERS.

Ruben is great barber he is my go to barber, speaks Spanish and English and gives great haircuts!

I been here getting my cut by Ruben( first chair to the left) well over two years. He cuts hair exactly how you want it. I met him shortly after he came in from a salon. I've had from light cleanups, to a mohawk, to a skin fade, to the mullet fade I have now, each one done well, and he's really helped me find my style. I can't speak for the other barbers.

I am a regular of Ruben. He has never given me a haircut that I was not happy with, he’s so reliable and cuts the best haircuts!

Ruben is simply spectacular. I go do my hair with silver highlights, cut my hair, trim my beard and it is always done with excellent detail. He takes great pride in taking his time to ensure his work is excellent and aesthetically pleasing. Absolutely great work, for incredible value!

Everyone here does good work - I have been going to Rubén for quite some time. I change my hairstyle often and I always leave with a good cut.

Rubén is a wizard with the clippers and shears. He's the only barber I've seen since moving to New York three years back. Three things I love about Rubén: he's bilingual, he takes his time every time, and he works with precision. Also, you never know what random gifts you'll walk away from Karlo's with. Last time, a random neighbor dropped in with some huevos hervidos, so I had a post-cut snack! Five Stars.

Great barber shop in Bushwick. Really friendly staff with a positive energy. Been around the neighborhood cutting hair for decades. Gave me a great hair cut for a very fair price in ~30 minutes. They have a bunch of barbers and chairs. Went in mid day on a Saturday and didn't have to wait at all. Looking forward to going back when I need another cut.

This place was my last option for a haircut. Barbers seem cool but inexperienced. I asked for a tape up with a 5 on the top and received half a haircut and was told we’re done. On top of getting half the job done the line up was done crooked, the parts of the sideburn that was blended wasn’t matched on the other side. So now my right side is taped up the left looks like a shape up. My cousin also came in asking for the sides of his head to be bald n 1/2 inch to 1inch clipped off the top with Scissors. He got the sides done right but the top was at least 5in long walking in after his cut it was 1inch. Both cuts were done horribly. Inconsistent blending and sloppy line work and judgement of length is definitely the downfall of this shop. Just go across the street instead of coming here you might have better luck. If this place cold receive no stars then that would be my choice.
