Imanuel Barber Shop . . . . . . Unacceptable Abusive Attitude Imanuel Barber Shop's staff of two middle-aged guys renders sufficient service. They'll accept cash only payment and pricing is, comparatively, lower; but, realistically, haircutting/shaving skills are, definitely, not outstanding. Retail store property furnishings are visibly old/worn and not maintained above minimal sanitary standards. Moreover, both, their barbers general attitude leans toward unprovoked querolous, impatient impoliteness. Notably, my intentions to re-enter Imanuel Barber Shop were instantly changed, on 2/27/2023, after shocked observation of barber Mike harshly speaking nasty "old-man" remarks and shoving a disabled, elderly customer. Incontrovertibly, grossly unacceptable business ethics. I've, since the aforementioned incident, chosen to patronize barbershops where our disabled, elder community members are assuredly shown due respect.

Used to get haircuts in the city by my office, but since the pandemic (and working remotely at home in Bklyn) I haven't had a real haircut in 2 years, just doing my best at home w/trimmer. Well, enough is enough, and a quick Google search suggested Imanuel Barber Shop - a quick walk from home. Arrived early Sunday morning and was met with the most gracious and pleasant gentleman imaginable. Swift, professional and talented barber! Add to that some interesting intelligent convo, and you have the perfect combination. I certainly found my new neighborhood barbershop - and if you try Imanuel Barber Shop, it'll be your new go-to as well.

Hands Down Best Barber Shop in the area! Been going here for over 20 years! Starts with the dad and professionalism is passed down to the the boys. Mike is my guy! Clean, courteous, professional and awesome service.

I called to make an appointment and asked if the shop would be busy around 5:30 because whoever answered the phone claimed they don’t do appointments. The guy that answered the phone replied “ I don’t know the future”. I thought that was a very rude way to speak to a potential customer. I’ll never spend money there, let alone walk through the door if that’s how they treat their customers over the phone.
