Been getting my hair cut for about 3 years at Hellrazor by LU. Always leave with a perfect clean cut. Good conversation and vibes always, never looking for another barber because LU is awesome.

Honestly, I still can’t believe what just happened. I booked an appointment online with Lu (same as I did the last three times) and showed up early, ready for a normal haircut. Instead, Lu greeted me with straight-up attitude and aggression, telling me he wouldn’t cut my hair and that I should go to his “colleague” instead. Funny enough, I’ve seen that same colleague show up late every single morning I’ve been there - sometimes half an hour late - while customers just sit and wait, even though they booked the first slot of the day. So yeah, not exactly someone I wanted to be “referred” to. When I asked Lu why he refused to cut my hair when I clearly booked him, his answer was: “Because I said so.” Then he literally laughed in my face. The arrogance and lack of respect were off the charts. I took time out of my day, spent money to get there, and was treated like absolute garbage. If that’s how this shop thinks you treat loyal clients, something’s seriously wrong. Lu maybe take a deep breath, talk to someone, or just stay home until you remember how to respect people. 👉 Avoid this place at all costs. There’s nothing “professional” about humiliation.

Biagio, we maintain a respectful environment for everyone who walks into HellRazor Barbershop. During that interaction certain comments crossed a line and service was declined as a result. We do not tolerate disrespect toward our staff or our space. We stand behind that decision.

What was initially a last minute call for a hair cut has now become ) almost 5 years later) not going to anyone but Lu of HellRazor! With an eye for detail and a calm natured disposition, Lu is by far one of the most easy going spirits I have come across in the Cosmetology Industry. Weather it's a clean cut for an Irish Dance Competition, Formal occasion , routinely maintenance, or anything of the sort, Lu not only does his best to make time for cliets, he also takes a genuine interest and care for all who come and sits in the chair! Never a disappointment!

Lu is an incredible barber and has become a staple of the neighborhood. He won't charge you an arm and a leg and he'll always have you leaving looking & feeling better than when you walked in. Definitely a place to go if you want a stable and regular barber who will learn your hair and style & give you advice and feedback if you ever decide to change things up.

I’ve been to Hellrazor multiple times and have always had a great experience with Lu — he’s an excellent barber who takes his time and delivers consistently solid haircuts. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was a different story. I booked with Greg, and the haircut was one of the worst I’ve had in years. The entire appointment felt rushed (maybe 10 minutes total), and the results showed: my hair was uneven, poorly blended, and there were even a few bald spots I didn’t notice until later. I had to visit another barbershop the same day to get it fixed. While I’ve had great cuts here with Lu, this experience was disappointing enough that I won’t be returning to the shop.

Jake, I reached out to you privately at the time, offered you a full refund and a complimentary fix because I stand behind my shop and the work we do. We take our craft seriously and address concerns directly. That offer was genuine and every effort was made to address the concern at the time.

Just had my first hair cut with Lu. He’s a really fantastic guy, nice to talk to and he’s a very skilled barber. I will definitely come back!

Lu is a great guy with a cool story- hard not to root for him and his business. He is a talented barber and charges you about 1/2 what other guys in the area will because that’s just who he is! Happy to have found my new spot

Lu has one of the most chill feeling barber shops around, the interior is cozy and feels like a really well decorated living room. Always has good music playing, and good vibes. And of course, the haircuts are great.

I came across this neat barbershop, by chance, after having brunch with my girlfriend at The Brooklyn Tree (great spot btw). Luis was very kind with his hospitality and his cut was great. Very impressed with his fade and I enjoyed the fact he took his time. Also thanks for the drink, much appreciated! Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends as well.
