Aziz did a great job cutting today. He is an expert in shear work. He knows how to blend and make hair thinner. Moreover, he gives great low fades. Lastly, he can line up your forehead, no matter the shape. I will be coming back!

Fine for adults. I wouldn’t recommend for kids, they were very rough with my son. Complaining to me that he was being fussy and telling me I needed to step in and brush his hair for them. My son has never had any issues getting his hair cut before at other places but hated this experience. I’ll take him somewhere else next time.

Julia gave me a great shave! I usually do it myself, but wanted to shape my beard a little bit more, and she did a fantastic job with great attention to detail. Love their rewards program too.

Stopped in here a few months ago for a cut, and sat with Julia. The cut was good so I went back for another yesterday. Very pleasant experience here

My boys got great haircuts (medium length hair). The manager Eddie is fantastic. He asked me all about what they wanted, made sure we felt comfortable speaking up as the cut went on, and was genuinely warm and gracious. It can be hard to speak up, especially if you aren’t sure what you want, but because of Eddie, we are MUCH happier with these cuts than we have been at other barber shops.

Don’t let the reviews fool you! This is not the best place to go if you have specific instructions that you want your Barber to follow. I got the haircut he wanted, not the haircut I wanted. I asked for a trim and as little as possible, just enough to make it look organized, and the haircut I got is too short for me to still have the wavy hair that I had when I walked in. Don’t recommend.

Went in for a beard trim, sign said $17. My barber (seemed like a new guy) asked if I wanted haircut too, I said no. Then asked if I wanted the neck with razor or machine, I said razor. Then at the end the boss said $45- 17 for beard trim and 28 for razor. Crazy, I thought it was just part of the beard trim. The owner compromised on $28 total. Then I got home and realized the razor got blood all over my shirt. 3000 reviews at 4.9 did not align with my experience. The beard trim was fine. Owner seemed like a nice guy with his clients but upcharging me like that means I don’t feel the need to go back

First time visiting George’s on Fifth Ave, super happy with the result! No reservation on a weekday afternoon. Was warmly welcomed by the team and able to sit right away. They had 4-5 barbers going so pretty minimal wait times as new folks came in. I was lucky to be served by Omar, he is professional, friendly, and most importantly delivered a GREAT haircut and beard trim. He took his time, and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the cut. Cash only. It was around $45 for the haircut and beard trim including some razor work for the lines. Thank you!!
