Great experience at George Barber Shop. George is very professional and gives clean, precise haircuts. The shop is clean, the service is excellent, and he really pays attention to detail. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quality barber in Brooklyn. I’ll definitely be back!

Pretty bad haircut, will have to get it fixed. The barber was impatient when I gave him feedback so I thought it’d be best to leave before he made it worse. Also I felt a condescending/racist vibe from the barber next to him towards the barber doing my hair. I appreciated that they welcome walk ins but that’s about it. Definitely wouldn’t be returning.

This placed saved me when I needed a beard trim prior to an event. I usually have my regular in my regular neighborhood but I will definitely be back to this place when needed. Had me fresh and ready!

George’s Barber Shop is the kind of place you keep going back to... Unique styles, always on point with new trends, and the treatment is genuinely great. Very professional and the prices are more than fair!! I left really satisfied with the whole experience. Definitely recommend it.

I’ve struggled to find a good barber but Getoar is a top-tier barber. Clean fades, sharp lines, and always consistent. You can tell he really cares about his craft — highly recommend

I’ve never had to get a second haircut to fix what I got, but it happened with this spot. Tried to convince myself that product would fix things. The next barber who helped me said my sides and back were a mess, and the top was far too short. Worst he has seen. The 4.9 rating is misleading. The price is definitely not worth what you get. I don’t post ratings, but I would not recommend this place. (I went on Jan 14 morning and sat on the far right chair near the wall when they were fixing another chair)

TLDR: Great shop, friendly staff, and fantastic price for the area ($20 for students, $27 regular). Definitely going back, and would definitely reccomend. Just stopped in after a day of classes to get a much needed cut (shaved sides and 3-5'' scissors on top). The shop was empty when I walked in, and I was welcomed and served immediately. Told him what I wanted and he went at it, having me check throughout the process to make sure I was happy with what he was doing. He even offered me and the other client waiting a beer/shot (included in the price of the cut) which is always nice. We engaged in small talk and he finished up with a hot foam shave. Overall this was a great find in the Clinton Hill / Fort Green area and you CANT beat the PRICE! Especially for students! Many other shops charge 35-55 for essentially the same cut. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a great barber experience!
