Georges Barber shop is great. I’ve been getting my haircut there for almost two years now. The barber shop I had gone to for years closed down, but luckily I found George’s. They are my new spot!

El is great! We’ve been going to him for a year with our 4 year/now 5-year-old son. He’s very nice with kids & the sucker/candy afterwards is a big hit. They have the booster seat for the chair. He’s nice with our 2-year-old little girl while we wait for our son to be finished.

I’ve been getting my hair cut at George’s for a few years now, and it’s hands-down the best spot in the neighborhood. All the guys are great. Super friendly, skilled, and consistent. El in particular is phenomenal - crushes it every time. Super welcoming, always pays attention to the details, and makes the whole experience easy and enjoyable

I recently moved to Brooklyn and started getting my hair cut at George's. It’s been a great find and inexpensive compared to most other barbershops in NYC. My barber, Mili, is extremely friendly, easy to talk to, and has delivered a clean, consistent cut. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable and affordable spot in Prospect Heights.

The first time I went was great. However, my second visit today was awful. The guy who cut my hair—who also refused to tell me his name—made a disparaging comment about another barber’s haircut. Rightfully so, the other barber got upset and they began to argue to the point that the other barber used expletives. I told them to hold off on their argument until I left. When I went to pay, I told my barber that he just lost a customer because he made me feel so uncomfortable. Instead of apologizing, he began to argue with me that they did not have an argument. The manager insisted that I not pay for my haircut and gave reimbursed my money. It’s too bad—they have all the fixings of a good business, but I won’t be returning.

I had a great experience at this barbershop. My barber was super friendly, we had such a good conversation that I didn’t even notice how fast the time passed. He never left me sitting alone with my thoughts for too long, which made the whole appointment fun and comfortable. Cool barbershop with an awesome staff. Definitely coming back.

One day I was having brunch in the area and I found this gem. The place is very cozy, the staff is very welcoming and they are true professionals. They listened to you and they apply their professional techniques. Mici was my barber and he was great! He performed one of the best haircut I have ever had, he was detailed all along the way, opened to my suggestions being extremely professional. 10 out of 10! Highly recommended.
