My mother is traveling tomorrow and made a 9am appointment today for a simple haircut. The shop wasn’t open so she had to stand outside for 45 MINUTES. When someone finally came to open the store, it wasn’t even the person she booked with. The store openers response to her being upset was “sometimes these things happen and today is one of those days”

The STAFF IS UNPROFESSIONAL, what kind of barbershop that opens at 9 and says they barbers only come in for appointments meanwhile there’s no indication STATING APPOINTMENTS ONLY ON THE WEBSITE NOR ON THE GOOGLE PAGE. It lets you schedule an appointment but DOES NOT SAY APPOINTMENTS ONLY. I waited outside with my TWO SONS on graduation day to get a cut WHOLE Time the Cashier GUY and some guy in the back with dreads just watch us stand in the sun for about 15-20 mins Not men not men of the 90s gotta be upset or something to see a lady and two kids outside knowing your newly added stipulations for a cut . And then finally 9am we walk in he says do we have an appointment I said no he said well it’s only one barber and he’s waiting on his appointment . I asked HOW LONG THE WAIT WAS HE states HE COULDN’T SAY . It’s a scam oF a business and honestly on this side of Brooklyn you mine as well go to BEDSTUY AND GET AN ACTUAL PROFESSIONAL CUT. SMH I wouldn’t have wrote this but I had time today since I gotta do my sons cut by myself. Never again

Got a full shape up last week for my cousin's graduation. Was in there no more than 35 min. Quick work and O'Neal took care of me well. 1 week later and my line is still crispy. Thanks O'Neal!

Never stay with one barber, no matter where you go. I just started going to this spot less than five months ago, and the barber messed up my cut. The dude at the front intentionally double-charged my card. It's a business account, and they will investigate why this guy double-charged me without saying he billed accidentally. That is fraud.

The last haircut I received was DEFINITELY not what I asked for. However, that was entirely my fault. I allowed another barber to cut my hair. He totally misunderstood what I asked for. I wanted the back and sides cut short and faded, and the top only half taken off and flat. He cut my hair so short that it will probably be six months or more before before my hair will grow out enough to get it cut the way it should be. When you travel more than 2 hours from The Bronx to Brooklyn, then you need to get exactly what you ask for. I will NEVER get my haircut by another barber again, but I will continue to go to First Impressions as long as my barber is employed there, not taking a chance on anyone else again. I think next time I go, I'll have my barber take photos of the haircut, all angles, should I be brazen enough to trust another barber again. I was totally disappointed with my haircut and literally wanted to cry.

I give 2 stars because of David. Every time I speak to him, even though he’s not trying to be disrespectful, I always feel disrespected. Today, I had an appointment with him, but I missed it due to personal issues. When I went over there, he questioned me as if I were a child, even though I told him that I called the guy at the reception and he told me to come. I don’t go there to ask for favors; I expect some respect. He needs to work on his communication skills.

They used undisinfected tools on my son.he got a fungus. He had to take antibiotics. I reported it to the shop and all I was told was, "We are sorry". No offer to pay the dr Co pay or medication. That is not the way to address the community you serve. Please take a look at the pics and beware.

First of all, I highly recommend. I went here today for my very first haircut. It was a big decision for me because I’m 22 and have had hair my whole life. My barber hooked me up! I mean I absolutely LOVE it. He made the experience very relaxing and informative. He talked me through the cut to let me know what he was doing to my hair and why. The shop was good vibes with good music. I don’t know why some people who left reviews say there are expensive because I think the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality cuts you receive.
