Not the kinda place you can just walk in for the first time and get seen. I walked in first and was skipped twice cuz dudes walked in and gave daps to the barbers. So you get preferential treatment if you know them which is pretty standard for most shops

The place is clean, the prices are approaching the high side for this community. You can go to any free barber; barbers still use the razor, I like this. The barbers must allow patrons continued protocols (e.g. to keep mask on) for the COVID virus. All the barbers first language is Spanish in an increasingly diverse community from primarily Caribbean; try more english. There is a TV for patrons however there should be local news (NY 1) or seasonal national sports (baseball, football, soccer) on display.

If you are able to get a cut by Manuel he will get you right, good luck getting a hold of him though. I used to walk in and he would tell me to call or text before hand. I would text and call him for days and he would not answer. When he answered he said he would text me back with availability over the next coming days and he never did. I showed up again in person and he had nothing available. The other barber I got cut by there is not good. They should figure out a better scheduling system because it feels like they are stuck in the 1960s.I have waited in person there several hours before Manuel even addressed me when he knew I was waiting to get cut by him. Went to this place today took my toddler for the first time and the professionalism was utterly off they were not friendly at all being that it was his first time he was scared and they did nothing to comfort him as a child i first asked are they good with kids and I explain everything to them they said okay they barley could even speak or understand what you say and the sad part is my husband goes to this barber shop for years thinking they would be more friendly after that they rejected us. I took my son to another shop where the service was wayy better and the barber understood and connected with my son and the job was done perfectly

When something fits you know. I finally found my barber in Brooklyn. These barbers take their time and the result shows. Not only that but they uphold the professionalism I expect of my barbers (my own personal thing). It can have long waits but that speaks to the quality of their work. Do not come if you are in a rush DO COME if you have the time it takes to look your best. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair.

They do amazing work. It wasn’t a long wait and I showed them a picture for my husband and he did exactly what I showed him. The prices aren’t bad neither and they were playing some nice music in there. It’s a great addition to the community.

Been going to these Barbers for YEARS! Excellent service, all qualified to cut all types of hair. No appts necessary, and they dont tolerate skipping customers regardless if they know u for hundreds of years. They tend to all their customers equally and fairly.

Angel is the best. If he gives you a cut then you're in good hands. One of the best in Brooklyn. Trust me. I've been cutting my hair at this shop for over 5 years.
