Fantastic place, fantastic service. I spent quite some time looking for a good barber in Williamsburg and (thankfully) decided to check out Cotter Barber - my go to place ever since.

Left my old barber and tried this place for the first time. Best haircut experience of my life. These guys are friendly, professional, and all around great barbers.

On the more expensive side of haircuts (~$75 after tip). But they cut hair really well. I can tell it’s quality because my hair still looks good when it grows out. I’m very happy with all my haircuts here

Joe is my go-to whenever I’m in NYC. He’s not just a barber, he’s a true hairstylist. He’s incredibly thoughtful with every haircut and takes the time to understand your perspective, and vision. His attention to detail, talent, and professionalism truly set him apart. I’m very particular and have worked in this industry for many years, so I know talent when I see it… and Joe absolutely has it. He consistently delivers exceptional results. I highly recommend him without hesitation.

Absolutely love Cotter. Ryan is my DUDE and not only does he do a great job, but he's a great guy. Great value for the price, and I recommend the COLD towel when you're done, iykyk.

I leave very few reviews. I think this may be my 2nd or 3rd review I have ever left on Google. I have been to Cotter 3 times. Each time the barber has given me on of the best haircuts I have ever had. The professionalism, the understanding of hair. It’s really unmatched in my experience. $60 for a haircut is not enough. If you care about your hair, go to this place. I am sure they make a decent cup of coffee, too.

Artem is an artist with those scissors - awesome barber backed by great staff in general. Everyone at Cotter Barber is chill, professional, and dedicated to getting your hair right. Highly recommend!

This is exactly the type of team you want to be taken care by: professional, authentic and simply, artisans. You leave feeling with all your expectations met and more specially, an experience. Special thanks to Artem, a true artisan who has been cutting my hair the past year and fortunately been discovered by my wonderful girlfriend (let's just say she wasnt particularly happy about my previous haircut I received from another barber). Wishing you guys all the best, cheers! PSA: there's a little cafe with a kickass espresso machine and barista on site. dont forget to order a cappuccino, sit back, and admire the vintage furniture :)

It's a beautifully decorated shop that is adorned with vintage barber stools and shelves from an old Post office. However, cute decor doesn't justify $50 for a simple men's haircut. My barber was nice and the cut was fine, it's just not worth that much money. I came here because my regular shop down the street was closed. Will probably avoid this place in the future.

Joe cut my hair and gave me a beard trim. I was treated and in my humble opinion look like a celeb. And they have a barista brewing coffee and water on tap. Overall, this place is grand.
