Went there to get a beard trim couple months back. Was going to see a barber I saw before but was assigned to a different one, because I missed my slot, fair enough. Guy named Sam seemed pretty friendly at first and I was like okay. He was doing a small talk, asked me where I am from etc. He straightened my beard with a brush and blow drier and got it pretty straight. So I asked him, how to do that. And his answer was, - You should know that, it came across judgy. Then I said, well I don’t and he repeated the same thing and then added, I don’t have time explaining that to you. I froze by how rude his response was. When I tipped him, which I shouldn’t have, he didn’t even say thank you. I left and I never came back. I also work in service as a freelance and to me this was appalling and unacceptable treatment of the customer. Would never go there again and don’t recommend because of the rude staff.

Good haircut, but more transparent pricing would be appreciated. List price is $44 but does not include credit card processing fees and taxes. There is no mention of these fees in the shop which I believe should be disclosed to customers. With those costs and tips total ends up being $56-60

Absolutely top-notch haircut from George! The low fade was sharp, clean, and exactly what I asked for. He’s clearly skilled, pays attention to detail, and makes the whole experience comfortable and professional.

Been taking my 3 year old son here for the last 6+ months and have had a great experience. Sam is our go-to guy and he always does a great job. Fast and friendly service.

I go here consistently. George is awesome - attentive, detailed, efficient, and knows his stuff. The times I've skipped out & got cuts on the road, I've regretted it. Ditto for when I've gone to higher prices places (e.g., Fellow). George gives high quality cuts without the fluff. Happy repeat customer -

Moved to New York 2 years ago and wasn’t able to find someone to cut my hair well enough to stay. Been moving around a lot from one person to the next. Found George who is very meticulous and listens to what I want for my haircut. Very good with his fades and does not leave spots. He has a customer now that is going to stick with him!

Amazing place with nice people who are true pros. Rodrigo is my man. Never rushes, makes sure everything is perfect and makes my hair look awesome! Highly recommend

Good haircut, Rodrigo touched up my existing design real nice. Hard to find people who can so that. For an hour of work they charged $70, which is on the high side but I left happy. Will come back when I'm in Brooklyn next.

George is the best. Asks lots of questions and makes sure, your expectations are met. The shop is nice and the prices fair. For Sat + Sunday, better get a reservation from their website as it gets pretty busy. Its very simple and quick.

First time here and I will be back. Quality service and products in a clean and cool space. Great shop with great music and conversation. Although check the prices and get a quote before you sit down. I had a haircut ($28) and beard trim ($15) when I made my appt; with ny state tax that should be no more than $47. Somehow it came out to $56! Otherwise I will be back, and it’s a nice place for a weekend cut if you stroll Atlantic.
