Clara Barber Shop is 5+++++ STARS as is David as a superb barber! David is not only expert , but personable, professional and kind and friendly! He is knowledgeable and great at recommending the perfect look! The Barber Shop is very clean and stylish.and has a great vibe Highly commend!! I asked for a buzz cut with fading and tapering of sides and neck. I was extremely pleased at the detail work and David’s attentiveness to my request

I went in for a beard trim, as this is the first time I’ve ever grown a full beard. I googled beard groomers in the area and searched through a few different places and reviews and landed on this shop. All I can say is that David is amazing! He listened to my needs, shared what he thought would look better, and gave exceptional service! I will most certainly be back and will refer others to go see him! 10/10

David and James are top notch! Great barber and a great cut I was especially grateful for David’s hair-care knowledge and suggestions. It was almost like I had a hair doctor that also gave me a great cut! Haircut was a fair price and I was in and out in about 30 minutes - excellent hot towel service as well

Husband had his beard and done. Great service, old school barber feel. Very very good and highly recommend. Lovely customer service. Old school barber chairs are a classy touch 👌🏻

Today, for the first time, I visited Clara Barber on North 7th Street, recommended by my wife Gabi — and what a perfect recommendation it was. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The shop has such a clean, modern, and comfortable atmosphere, but what really made my visit stand out was the haircut I received from David. His attention to detail, care, and skill were absolutely incredible. He listened closely, made sure I felt at ease, and gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. It’s rare to find a place where the experience feels so personal and thoughtful. I left not only with a sharp, fresh look, but also with the sense that I’d found a barbershop I’ll be returning to again and again. I’ve been going to Xavier for my haircuts for a while now, and I’ve gotta say his fades & cuts overall are top notch! MISTY fades. Every single time he nails that perfect blend and makes sure everything looks clean and sharp. & his customer service is fantastic, super friendly, welcoming guy. Always makes you feel at ease. Be sure to ask for Xavier whenever you stop by, he’ll take care of you 🙂↕️💯 Definitely recommend checking him out if you’re in the area looking for a solid haircut!

Clara Barber is hands down the best barbershop in Williamsburg. The space is modern and welcoming, and the barbers truly take their time to give you exactly the cut you want. David and his team are professional, detail-oriented, and make you feel at home the moment you walk in. Easily my go-to spot for a fresh, clean look.

Great barber right in Williamsburg. Dave is a super nice person who’s technically skilled at giving a man’s haircut. I was staying at a nearby hotel and got cleaned up for under $100 in about 20 minutes. Great experience. Good conversation. Excellent cut. (Nice meeting you as well, James.)
