Wonderful barber who helped me find a new style. Really cute and sweet dog who greets everyone in the lobby. I’ve been going there for years now, and the owner is a pleasure. Highly recommended!

I assumed a reviewed Joey ages ago but I messed up. Been going here 3-4 years now, including maybe my first reintroduction to civilized life mid-pandemic. He’s a good guy and likes to treat his clients well. He also knows what he’s doing with hair and takes it seriously. I get lots of compliments on my fade and I’m not the kind of guy, pre-Joey, one would have thought could pull it off. Won’t go anywhere else, you should come here just don’t make it too busy because I don’t like to plan my reservations that far ahead.

Best haircut you can get in all of New York, seriously. I moved to the ues and I still make the commute to come to this place. Price is reasonable and the quality is fantastic! Come on in on a Sunday and the game will be on, what more can you ask for. This place has it all. Cool vibes and great cuts 👌

I’ve been coming here for 4 years - Big Boy Joey not only does an awesome job and pays close attention to details, but also gives great tips on how to maintain your desired hair style post-haircut. The shop is decorated with interesting art and memorabilia, and Big Boy Joey often has his beautiful dog, Buffy, present in the shop to provide company and affection to customers. Finally, Big Boy Joey is friendly and conversational, making for a haircut that is devoid of the awkwardness that sometimes is experienced with more reticent barbers.

A quality cut from someone who pays attention to details Joey is the man! He took more time to ask me about my hair and style than any other barber had before. Joey knows hair and he knows how to give a customer exactly what they want. He is also a very personable guy and will keep the conversation going as he cuts your hair. I just moved to Brooklyn and I think I found my barber. Thanks Joey for the cut!

Joey is the best barber I’ve ever had! Been coming here for a few years now and also live in Queens but still commute because there’s no one else who can cut my hair like Joey. Not only do you get a great cut but my hair has improved overall thanks to the tips I get every time I come. From the great atmosphere, free drinks and great prices. There’s no reason to go anywhere else!

Oh my... Alx and this barbershop is amazing. I will never go anywhere else or to anyone else for that matter. She has boosted my confidence more than anything in my life. Visiting the shop is favorite part of the week. Great music, haircuts to perfection, and even better people. I would give this place 10/5 stars if I could!

10 out of 10!!! The Best!! Go here!!! I have been coming to Barber Room 306 for 5 years now and I recommend to everyone that asks me where to get their haircut. Everyone there is super friendly, reliable, welcoming. The vibe is awesome and chill. I have seen Joey the owner and he always delivers. He’s patient and down to discuss what’s gonna make me Feel great with my hair!! Can not recommend highly enough. Go here!

Searched for the right Barber for months when i moved to the city. Then someone recommended this place and I haven't looked back. Cassie is insanely good at what she does and the whole place makes you feel very much at home from when you walk in the door. From them offering you an array of drinks to the chill vibe. It doesn't try to be anything more than what it is...an outstanding Barbershop.

Joey is definitely a hidden gem in the barber game. I've been going to him for a while now after jumping around from place to place when I moved to NYC, I can attest that he has perfected barbering into an art form. He always makes sure every detail is perfect. The haircuts are so good that eventually everyone at my work started noticing and asking where I get it done–now all the guys in my department with short hair come with and get cleaned up here. Can't recommend this place enough!
