Very rude. Walked in and said hello…. Guy working there just looked at us. No hello, nothing. He continued cutting someone’s hair in silence. We stood there awkwardly for a few minutes and then left. I guess I’m used to salons but it was bad vibes.

Manny and Igor are both excellent barbers, they have plenty of experience and know exactly what you need. They are friendly, accommodative and speak English. After looking for a barber locally for quite some time I was happy to finally find a good one. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new shop.

I absolutely love this place. I have been here about a dozen times now, and every visit is amazing. I truly believe this place is becoming a pillar of our community in the neighborhood. Manny and Igor are welcoming, patient, caring and are always fun and interesting to conversate with while I get my haircut. Special thanks to Igor who I visit all the time. He makes sure I am always looking good and actually cuts my hair the way I WANT and not the way other barbers think is "good". Customer input is super important in my opinion and I am glad Igor follows the directions I give. Whenever I need a haircut, a beard trim, a shave, etc. I know exactly who And where to go to. Not only are the services top notch, the facility itself is clean and bright. Comfortable chairs, very short wait times, and all haircuts are done in a timely manner. I always walk in here looking like a caveman and walk out looking like Brad Pitt. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get the cut they want in a friendly and welcoming environment. -Vic

I relocated to Bay Ridge last year and was looking for a new barber in my neighborhood. I went here for the first time yesterday, and Yegor did an amazing job. As I’ve decided to grow out my hair and go through the journey of having the awkward-length phase, he made sure to ask me what my final goal hair style was in details. I left the shop super satisfied! I’m definitely going back for my next haircut!

I walked by the shop randomly and got my son a fantastic haircut. Yegor is super talented, gentle, patient and knew exactly the type of cut I wanted for my son. I’ve been to 7 other stylists and honestly think Yegor hands down did the best job. Thank you!!

I had an incredible experience at 3rd Avenue barbershop with Imanuel! Before starting, he took the time to sit down with me and really consult on what I wanted. He offered great advice on what would work best for my hair type and face shape. The end result was better than I had even imagined. The whole experience felt personalized and professional. Highly recommend Imanuel and the whole team at 3rd Ave!

This barber shop has great welcoming vibes - my choice for long term service. My barber is Yegor, a super chill guy who does a great job with my fade cut. I have a strange shaped head but he knows his way around it. There are a few other options around the neighborhood but I am def sticking with this one. Edit: Just saw the johnny case one star review. It describes nothing close to Manny and is very obvious to me its laughable. Clearly attacking the business smh. Now it makes me suspicious of all the other shops in the vicinity

After having had my haircut and shave at many places, I can finally say I've found the best place in the City. I live in Staten Island but i travel to Brooklyn just to come to 3rd Avenue Barbershop!!! Irina and Albert are doing the unthinkable and making the barbershop experience enjoyable for men.
