The new barber at the door messed up my son’s haircut and when I told him not to cut my sons high top…he disregarded me and kept spinning my son around to the fellow barbers and they were laughing at him..which left him unhappy, uncomfortable

Everything we walk into Richelle Salon and Barbershop, we are treated like family. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and professional, exactly what you want in a neighborhood spot. Antoniete is the best woman ever! It was a quiet session which I enjoyed, I almost fell asleep. She’s very gentle with my hair and she waited for me to come in to do my hair after I called. My first time coming here and I’ll definitely be back (:

If I could give zero stars I would. A woman named Sonia did my hair and rushed the entire process. She gaslighted me and made me think that the issue was my hair but it was really her carelessness. I wanted a silk press and left the salon with poofy, dry hair and she INSISTED it’s because my hair is unkempt. It’s really because she doesn’t know how to say no when she has multiple clients.

I needed to do my hair super last minute so I called first and a man asked the hairdresser if she had space for me that day. The guy was very nice and helpful booking my appointment. The lady I got was Antoinette. I am very picky with how people do my hair but Antoinette was very gentle and handled me with great care. I would definitely be going there again. The rest of the people who worked there were also friendly.

I wish I could give greater than 5 stars. Richie was recommended to me by a coworker. My 3 year old son has Autism and getting a haircut is always a struggle. From the moment we walked in Richie was patient and understanding as we worked to get my son acclimated. Once in the chair he provided knowledge regarding the clippers and used the best ones for my son’s hair texture to avoid tension and trauma. Not once did he show an frustration with my son although he fidgeted the entire cut. Everyone including other patrons were supportive and kind. I was beyond pleased with the final product and overall experience. Richie Truly is an Angel and skilled at what he does. We will certainly be back !!

Dyed my hair purple here few summers ago,bit pricey however LOVED the end result,clean environment the lady who did my hair even offered to buy me McDonald's cause she noticed I was hungry after all she was stuck doing my hair took her almost the entire day,THANK YOU! I must ask,how much you charge to do straight back cornrows on short hair,no extensions? Willing to pay anything between ($15-$35)

Richie aka the Spanish Beard.... best barber in the Bronx! My entire family gets the cut there!! No long waits in and out w/ precision and technique! The ladies in the beauty salon are very nice as well- if I had long hair this would be my salon of choice!!!

This is a great Salon/Barber shop over here located at barrow Ave in coop city. Been coming over here for years, Richie is a great barber here at this establishment. They keep the place Nice and clean and running smoothly. Best place to get a nice haircut.
