I have come to this salon many times until my last visit about 2 weeks ago. I have natural curly hair and I decided on adding deep conditioner treatment to my wash service. This time my scalp felt different after the wash and I also noticed my hair straighter than usual while setting but I thought “ oh what a great deep conditioner “ I’m not sure whether it was perm or keratin put in my hair but my hair now seems relaxed. There was definitely some kind of chemical put in my hair. This makes me so safe because I really trusted this salon with my natural hair. My hair stylist was Mary but someone else washed and conditioned my hair. Mary is great but I have to fault her too because he has to be aware this is going on. I know straighter hair is more manageable but it is our hair and our decision. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING

Love getting my hair done with Bery. Always listens, super talented, and I leave feeling amazing every time. Her staff is very talented too! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stylist who truly cares about their clients!

These people are rasict and then the lady tried to overcharge me I’ve been there before to get my hair dyed and was charged $120 and now I come back and it’s a different lady that tried to charge me $150 which I didn’t mind but what did it was when she changed her price to $200 like do you think I’m dumb? Then another lady gone say when I’m walking out if she don’t wanna pay $200 let her leave I will not be returning here anymore thanks a lot for trying to play me like I’m stupid! Rude people

The staff there are all great. From the lady that washes your hair to the beautician that does your hair. They work well and fast. I understand that we're in a inflation but, I wish the prices weren't so high. But! Besides that, they work wonders.

I must say that I so shocked and surprised by some of the negative reviews this place has I been going to this salon for a while now and never had an issue 1) I am Panamanian and indian I look black American and do not speak English and have no problem with communication or service 2) I never have a wait time imslways seen right away 3) I always get as wash and set that comes with a blow out at no addition cost I pay 5$ extra for a deep condition and I get pin curls 4) Mammita been doing my hair from day one and she is gentle fast and really sweet she did my big chop and my hair has grown back beautifully 5) I have natural hair and a perm was never out in my hair and heat protectant was applied every single time to every single part of my hair when getting blow dried 6) I as always pay the same price $50 for Wash deep condition blow dry and treatmentits always a pleasure getting my hair done here so I'm assuming they are justvunsatisfied customers or a competition salon smh I'm aware everyone experience can be different but as long as Ihave been coming here I never had a issue with pricing styling comfortability or accusations of as n unwanted perm. So I would definitely recommend Mammita does my hair and sometimes Maria washes my hair if Mammita has a client in her chair and each time my hair last longer than 2 weeks before I even go back my hair is growing beautifully thanks to Mammita

Sneak relaxer in the shampoo on natural hair. To be honest I should be suing this establishment. My hair smelled of burn and relaxer. My scalp itched and burned. Hair falling out in clumps. My worst nightmare. Concy did my hair and another woman with black shoulder length hair washed it. Beware of this salon. Untrustworthy.

I read the reviews and was skeptical but I will say I'm very happy I didn't listen to them. Gina did my hair..and absolutely loved her service.. She did a great job dying my hair..Omg she washed my hair exactly how I like... Blew out my hair because I was on a time schedule. I'm very happy.

Save yourself the chemical and heat burns to your scalp. Dyed my hair here asked for ash blonde got yellow hair and severely damaged and when asked if this can be corrected at no cost they got nasty with me. I even tipped her even though I shouldn't have I spent 150$ not including the tip to be tortured. I kept telling her my scalp was burning and she kept applying the bleach. The bleach was all over the chair and myself. Messy work. I even had my mom translate for me and she still messed up. I have a wedding to attend this week and now I'm depressed, that I look ridiculous. The place is filled with flies and attitudes.

0 STARS I highly advise to not visit the hair braiders in the back of the shop. They lied straight to my face and told me they would be able to style my locks. A day later my hair is standing on top of my head and instead of my locs being straight, they now are all puffy near the scalp. I tried going back to get a refund the following day and they couldn’t even explain to me why my hair was standing on-top of my head. They could not give me a cohesive/ clear answer and kept mentioning they could give me two stand twist …. But I have locs…. 0 stars. Only visit if you enjoy people gossiping about you while they do your hair.

Very affordable and friendly staff. As far as I can tell, all the hairdressers are Hispanic, but I was able to communicate in English which was great. Anna is my hairdresser and she's amazing. My hair always looks fabulous when she's done with it. I've seen a few other hairdressers when Anna wasn't available and my hair still came out looking great. It's best to have cash because there is a 3 0r 4% fee added when you use a credit card. There is an ATM in the shop if needed. I've never used it so I don't know if there is a charge from your bank to use it. Also, the salon loves playing their music so be prepared to hear it at higher than normal levels. The barber shop is connected right next door so that's very convenient.
