Manny is the best barber in existence. Especially in New Jersey. He transformed my look by convincing me to grow my hair in. And my life has never been the same. He’s also extremely professional and kind. You are missing out if you are not going to him ….. And his other barbers are on point.

We tried just about every barber in the area when our son was 3, and nothing ever seemed to work until we were recommended to Debbie. Four years later and we still won’t go to anyone else. Debbie is incredibly patient and amazing with kids. She made our son comfortable right away, and now he tells her exactly what he wants when he sits in the chair and she nails it every time. The shop always has a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere that makes the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We’re so thankful we found her and highly recommend Debbie, especially for kids.

I love coming to American Shave and most specifically, Debbie is amongst one of the only people I trust with my hair and facial hair. I’ve been seeing her for my haircuts for years and she has never disappointed. She’s professional, attentive, kind, and extremely talented at what she does. The shop is always clean, well-stocked, and everyone is always welcoming. I recommend anyone book with Debbie. I appreciate her greatly and I am so grateful I was recommended to American Shave years ago! Would rate much higher if I could.

Debbie is the best in the game! She is not only so skillfull in her craft, but is also very friendly and great with my kids! Thanks to her, my 4yo son is not afraid of clippers. The whole staff here is very welcoming, I definitely recommend this shop!

Best in the business!! When you go in for a haircut the entire staff always makes me feel right at home and well taken care of. I’ve never left Mr. J’s with a bad haircut and you most definitely won’t either - Mr. J’s is the answer for all your haircutting needs!

The best experience for my son’s first hair cut. The staff and the other customers were so sweet and welcoming. My son left dancing with a beautiful haircut. Amazing staff and I definitely recommend!

Excellent cuts! Professional barbers. I took my 4 year old son here after getting some bad cuts at kids salons. My husband recommended Mr. J’s. I was nervous since he’s a kid and his hair was long but they took their time, did a beautiful scissor cut and was just a really chill guy. I can’t recommend this place enough. Clean and priced fairly. Wishing them a lot of success. This is now the family barber!
