Johnny Bladez is the person to see here. I’ve Been coming here to 1X for about 2 years now after leaving my other barber of 20 years, and I must say, this place is very welcoming. There’s a great vibe and everyone is very skilled. Aesthetically, it’s one of the best barbershops around the area as well. Keep up the great guys.

All of the barbers at this barber shop are extremely professional and good at their craft. I personally get a haircut from Orvi or also known as Bori who does an exceptional job. Strongly recommend 1X barbershop and now they have multiple locations which is even better for others.

Diego Hoyos is the best!! Usually he does my brothers hair but now he’s doing the haircut of me and my baby and we love it!! Pure talent and a kind person

I drive over 30 minutes just to get my haircut by David — that’s how good he is at his craft. He’s consistent, detail-oriented, and always takes the time to make sure every cut is perfect. Totally worth the drive every single time!

Great energy as soon as you walk into the barbershop! Shoutout to David for being flexible and responsive. Was able to fit me into his schedule last minute when I needed an emergency haircut. Definitely would continue to go here.

1x is the best barber shop in Union city! All the barbers are cool and the vibe is always welcoming. I’ve been getting haircuts from David for over a decade and can vouch for his skills, proper etiquette and time management. There’s not many that can do what he does. Highly highly recommended.

1X has been a staple for generations in Union City, New jersey. The best barbers have worked and started here. Johnny also known as “J-Bladez was my generations young and up coming barber at those times. I caught him on his rise. I went to school with him. He has been cutting my hair for a decade or more. It’s hard to trust any other barber after him. He was my son’s first barber since the age of one year old.
