I had high hopes for this barber until the service wasn’t the best. I booked for an edge up service with the mistake of thinking I would be able to modify it once arrived. When I got there, I asked can he do a low taper and he said that’s not what I booked for and I admit I may have made a mistake. I still asked can he do it and he did not grant my request. He just went on a rant on how people always make that mistake, etc. I didn’t have an issue paying for a full haircut. You may think time is the issue, but when I left there was no one waiting. You were just on your phone. I think it’s important to listen to your customers so you keep customers. I won’t be going back

Corey, I already addressed this in my response to your Booksy review, but I’ll clarify again here.<br><br>You booked an edge-up service, which is a specific service with a specific amount of time scheduled. With my booking system, clients need to schedule the service itself, not just a time slot. Each service has a different time allocation so I can stay on schedule for everyone.<br><br>A low taper is part of a haircut service, which requires more time than an edge-up appointment allows and cannot simply be added once the appointment begins.<br><br>For clarity, the edge-up service you booked includes lining the perimeter of the hairline and beard, which is exactly what was performed.<br><br>Even though the correct service was provided, I still issued you a full refund. Not because the service wasn’t delivered, but because I’d simply rather not keep someone’s money if there’s confusion about what was booked.<br><br>As I mentioned in my text message, please respond so I can send your refund ASAP.<br><br>I wish you the best moving forward.<br><br>— Dalles<br>

Dalles gave me a great haircut, especially given the fact I hadn't had one in a while. It took about as long as anticipated, was peaceful, good music, and he was very nice and cordial. It was also very nice to be able to pay by card as well. I plan to return in the future.

First time going there it was the best haircut I’ve gotten since. Barbers would make the line up uneven and I told Dalles about it and he took care of it.

Dalles was great - Super professional, detailed, and friendly. The fade i received is seamless, and the beard trim flows seamlessly into the rest of my hair. I dont trust most barbars with my beard,but was pleasantly suprised by how clean the cut is and how closely my details were followed. Best haircut and shape up I've gotten in years, and looking forward to coming back.

1st time customer and I will definitely be back again. very relaxing environment, almost fell asleep during hot towel treatment. cut was great as well as bread trim.

Great experience with Dalles at The Fresh Factory Barbershop! My son was looking for a new barber and has tried many in the area. The experience here was one of a kind… the one on one / personal setup really set the tone in the best way. As a young man with sensory issues, he really appreciated the calming atmosphere and Dallas’ equally calming and friendly demeanor. And let me emphasize it’s so hard to find a good barber who is skilled with clippers and scissors, (my son has lots of coarse curls) - so glad we finally found Dalles! Great service, reasonably priced! We’d recommend The Fresh Factory a thousand times over! This place is a real gem!

I’m fairly new to the area and glad I found my barber in Jersey. Dallas Maxwell is super skilled and professional. Excellent deal considering the high quality service and very reasonable. I’d highly recommend The Fresh Factory Barbershop in Somerset!

I just got one of the cleanest fades I’ve had in a long time! He took his time, paid attention to every detail, and really made sure the cut was exactly what I wanted. you can tell he takes pride in his work. On top of that, he was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience comfortable. If you’re looking for a barber who knows how to deliver a quality fade, I highly recommend him. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Wow! My experience at DARAND was awesome. The barber hooked me up with the perfect fade - honestly the best I've had in years. They really take a personalized approach. DARAND gave me great recommendations that actually worked for my face shape. The beard trim blew me away - super clean lines and perfect length. I've never had someone pay such close attention to detail on my beard before. Chill vibe, fair prices, and zero rushing through the appointment. Already booked my next cut.

Moved to the area a couple years ago and been trying to find a good barber since with no luck. I was working in the area and needed a quick haircut and beard shaped up. Came across Darand Barbershop and it's 5 star reviews and decided to give it a shot. Dalles is GREAT! He has great customer interaction, and a nice spot where he cuts, but most of all he can cut and shape up like a pro! Anyone looking for a new barber or even a quick cut passing through I can't recommend him enough. Thanks again and I'll definitely be coming back!
