I love this place, Adriana and Isabela are amazing! I feel really welcomed! Every time I go to get a haircut it feels like I'm back to my country. If you are looking for an old traditional and innovative haircut at the same time, this is your place.

I have been coming to Ames Barber shop for many years. Adriana’s shop is the best! It is clean, welcoming, and treated like family! Overall a great atmosphere. Adriana is a professional at her craft and cuts my hair to exactly how I like. Which is why I will always come back!

Will not be coming back here ever!!! The old lady did not know how to follow instructions on the way the customer want their hair done she only pretended to listen to what hair cut I want and still did it her way for a first time customer here my experience was horrible so if you are thinking of coming here please think twice and just pay $5 more next door!!!😤😤😤

Set up an appointment for my bf for a hair cut and face trim, it was his first time there. My man came home after, walked in the door with his hair completely un even - all different lengths. We will be stopping by tomm for a full refund, we could have went anywhere, there are numerous shops and we came to your shop and you butcher his hair. See you tomm!

I have tried a few places over the years. It's a long story but my regular barber was unreasonably cranky so it was time to move on. I have been happy with every cut at Ames and the atmosphere is bright and friendly.

Thanks to Isabella for another great haircut Friday afternoon at five. By the next day I had already received compliments for it! Have a great trip to S. America and thank you again. Greg. Since then I've had another excellent haircut, this time by Adriana as Isabella wasn't available. Hoping all's well and see you again in spring as will be away for extended period. Happy Holidays!

Clean and friendly service! I usually come as a walk in but on the weekends call for appointment ahead ! This place its family owned complementary coffee while u wait for ur haircut ! Prices are reasonable definitely more affordable than the other shops in town! Ive been a customer Ames shop for couple of years ! I definitely recommend it!
