I’ve been coming here for haircuts ever since I was a kid. Sasha is the best! He always does an amazing job. Also just a great genuine guy to talk to. Never once had a bad experience. Definitely would recommend

Had appointment for hair cut but was met at the door and told he could not cut my hair it was too long ?? He was very rude. Stay away

Tried this place a couple of months ago and it was good however when I went back I was told it would be an additional $10 because my hair was long. I said it was longer the last time without extra charge and left.

First time, last time. Refused to cut my son’s hair the way I asked him to. Assured me that if it wasn’t short enough he would take off more and then flat out wouldn’t even though I insisted multiple times. He just kept shrugging his shoulders. Also “couldn’t get the knots out” of my sons hair so I did it myself (took me a minute and a half). Just because you call someone ma’am, doesn’t mean you’re being polite.

Rockaway Barber Shop is handsdown the BEST barber in New Jersey. Sasha has been cutting my hair since I was a kid and I live in 40 minutes away. Worth every minute of the drive! You dont need to look anymore for a barber. Just call Rockaway Barber shop and make an appointment.

I can not say THANK YOU enough!!! Amazing experience!!! I brought my son there for his first haircut last weekend. Sasha is hands down the BEST!!! My son looks so handsome and Sasha knew exactly how to work with him- he is so calm, gentle and TALENTED!!! We found our place and will be customers for many years to come!!!!

I couldn't find a right barber since I moved to the East coast, but Sasha is awesome. He makes good conversation, and if you don't wanna talk, he respects that and keeps it silent with no awkwardness. He's been in the business for a long time, and he works by himself at the moment ever since COVID, but he does an amazing job with scheduling and even better with his haircuts. I recommend you guys to come here to get your haircut for the service, quality, and professionalism. Thank you Sasha! -Ken

This barbershop is one of the gems tucked away from the busy malls and hustle and bustle of other streets. Sasha will give you a haircut like you have not experienced since you were a young man. Every meaning of the traditional barbershop with the modern amenities of a stylist this place is where you call your hometown barbershop. Expect to wait some days, but great thing’s are worth the wait!

This place is amazing. First of all the staff is overwhelmingly nice and friendly read to help you with whatever you want to do. My son is 7. Not tough for a haircut anymore. But we live in New Milford and I work in Denville, also grew up there. My son wanted a special haircut for football, he wanted his number shaved into his head. Brought him over and Alex took his time with him. It came out great. We left he was smiling ear to ear. We went to lunch and he FaceTimed the whole family. He wants Alex to always cut his hair. What a happy boy!

Just got my haircut and beard trimmed by the girl, sorry did not catch her name. She did a great job! Plus she trimmed my eyebrows and caught the rogue hairs everywhere else. Like my ears! Getting old stinks. Anyway would definitely go back. She is a great barber and did a really detailed nice job. Owner, Sasha?, could have been more friendly. He just sat in his chair and said nothing. When a new customer walks Into my business, I go out of my way to welcome them in. Anyway, job well done and I'll go back to the girl again. I'll also catch her name nextime.
