Love this place. Been going there since I moved into town well over 5 years ago. My barber John is a master in his craft along with great personality and great vibes so there’s never a dull moment.

Nothing but the best service from Joe and John. Always on time, and on that rare occasion he is running a little late, he always hits you with a text letting you know. Very considerate and accommodating. Haircut is always on point. Reasonably priced. Comfortable atmosphere. In regards to the recent reviews with 1 star. It sounds like they were walk ins. I’ve been in the chair when walk ins come in and try to get a cut. John and Joe are nothing but polite and professional and always try to fit that person in and accommodate them. On that note, i would recommend taking down one of their numbers and making an appointment. As they are very busy and a lot of their customers are by appointment. Once again, Scruff is a top notch barber shop. I have never had a problem there, and i would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a barber.

John has been giving haircuts to my brother and I over at Scruffs for years now and never disappoints our haircuts. He always provides different time slots to accommodate what works best. He knows exactly what I want every-time I walk in as well. After we get done, people always compliment the haircut and ask where we went- where we respond go to Scuffs and ask for John!

Ive been going here for 4 years, no one else cuts my hair better. The haircuts are so good, I always get compliments from people about my haircut and where I get it from. John is very nice and cares greatly about customer satisfaction. 100% recommend.

I am a long term loyal customer of SCRUFF and will continue to come here due to the exceptional service, attention to detail and overall QUALITY of his cuts. Johnny makes it a priority to make the overall experience an amazing one, from the moment you walk in to the moment he shakes your hand on the way out. Hands down the greatest barbershop in NJ. In regards to recent 1 star reviews it’s sounds like John did everything he could to try and accommodate the situation, yes walk-ins are welcome but booked appointments are priority. Johns customers are long term loyal customers who are always satisfied with his service. Myself being one of them long before SCRUFF was his own business. Thanks John and Joe for the great cuts you guys provide! Always been my number 1!

I’ve been getting my haircut by John for 8 years. He is very passionate about what he does and makes sure you leave with the perfect cut. John is a true professional, always greeting you by name with a smile. He is a one man show however he always accommodates and will make time for everyone. I highly recommend Scruff Barbershop for all ages!
