Horrible barbers, can’t cut hair properly, impatient as hell, have loud music blasting in the shop. Also don’t go there if you can’t speak spanish

I love the experience and the atmosphere here at Chelo's Barbershop since they know how to cut hair and I love to talk to them in Spanish and it is getting better over the years but it needs more improvement.

Been going to this place for over a year and a half now, and I’m always satisfied with every visit. I always get my hair cut by Noel, he’s very friendly since the first day I walked into this shop and he welcomed me with great hospitality. He really takes his time and focus on every last detail. His prices are very affordable as well (so affordable that I feel the need to give him a tip every time because he’s just that good!). The shop overall is very friendly, they have a cleaning lady that’s always making sure the place is spotless, and the waiting time isn’t that long for a haircut. I’ve recommended and gotten many of my friends and family to go to this place. You won’t be disappointed.

It took my son’s and I 1year after moving into jersey to find the best barber 💈 shop and by far this is an Amazing place, it’s been 3 1/2 since we moved into jersey suburbs and and 2 1/2 years going’s to chelo barbershop, we chose our barber and he like all the barbers in the shop even the owner chelo are very good. Very respectful place good music and good people, 👍👍. Keep up the good work.

I take my 88 year old dad for his haircut there. The barber cutting his hair is always pleasant and does his best to cut my dad's hair as he likes it. On my last visit, one of the barbers walked my dad to the car. Very gracious of him.

I've known the other since I was 15, I'm 33 now. I no longer cut my hair with him but every barber there always has the highest standards possible to uphold. Always friendly, always humble no matter the person. My favorite bar for years now is Melbin, a true master if his art. 😎

I have tried many barbers in Paterson none come close to this one I get cut by gordo. They are not scared to try a new cut and they are damn good at them. Plus the prices are the best around only time I pay more then 20 bucks is when I get a full package cut. Trust me you won't be disappointed in the cut
