Just checked this place out cause my other place was closed. Wish I started off with this place cause they took their time and asked questions to make sure I’m happy with the cut and didn’t give me any problems when I said I wanted a certain way. One of the best cuts I had in a long time

This is the only place my son will go to. He books his own appointments on the app and goes in by himself. They do a great job and he's always happy with the results. Highly recommended.

Excellent Haircut Experience at Step Up Barbershop! I recently visited Step Up for a haircut, and I must say, I was impressed with the service I received. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. My hairstylist Israel was extremely professional and attentive to my needs. They took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered valuable suggestions based on their expertise. I felt confident in their skills from the moment we started the consultation. During the haircut, I found the service to be effective and efficient. Israel worked diligently to ensure that every detail was perfect, and the end result exceeded my expectations. First time going here and honestly it’s cheap but unless you know how to speak their language Spanish or Portuguese ((I think idk couldn’t understand at all)) you will be fine but if you don’t they will give you someone who might not speak English. ((You and then will be having such a hard time explaining or talking to each other)) 😐 I tried explaining but ended up having a bad hair cut like I just want to cut the whole thing off honestly. It look good with gel on but after a wash well… 🫢 Anyway I had a chunk left so I asked him if he can do this haircut since it was just basic he only had to cut the front and well not even straight at all or the way it look he basically messed up badly. Tipped him and left and well please stay with your own barber even if they live far 😭. Coming home and noticing one side he did better but the other side big mistake. One side has more chunk of hair and the other side had less. I asked him for a taper but a ton of issues happened. Sadly. The photo is not uploading but this is the end result.

My first visit to Madan the Barber at step up salon and barber shop was on 6/23/20. I found him on books where he is rated a 5 out of 5. With COVID his shop had been closed and his shop was the first to open in the area. I booked through the booksy app which Madan prefers. I must say that this shop is the real deal as Madan and his team are true professionals, they are all good in that shop, I go on a Tuesday to get my haircut and it’s been busy every time I go. This shop is the real deal! Madan is a dope barber with skills that impress, the haircuts and shave are of quality and precision! I have been to Madan like 5 times since June 23rd. He’s also a quality person and he and his team are a great bunch!

I’ve been coming to Madan’s Barber (step up) for over 10 years Now,and never been to any other barber and is the Best Barber in the Area, no doubt !! Very pleasant atmosphere, you feel welcomed the moment you step in there, all staff are all Professionals with years and years of experience on their back !! If you are looking to get a nice hair cut where you can always come back to this is the place !!
