Amazing local barber shop. The staff is very talented and knowledgeable, you can tell they really care about their clients and craft. Clean minimal atmosphere, friendly conversation, and consistently great cuts. Highly recommend supporting this spot.

Jacob’s the guy if you want to grow your flow out and have cuts that grow evenly and balanced. Highly skilled with attention to detail. All barbers in this shop seem to work with this philosophy as well.

I came in for a haircut today and there was a small misunderstanding, nothing major. Tito went way out of his way to make things right and fit me into his super busy schedule, even though I didn’t have an appointment with him in the first place. I was extremely happy with both the service and the haircut so much that I was planning to tip him double what I paid. When we were done, he actually refused to charge me at all, which honestly shocked me. That kind of kindness and professionalism is rare. I’ll 100% be coming back to get my hair cut with Tito again, and I’ll make sure he’s paid and tipped properly for the amazing service he gave me. Montclair Barbershop just gained a loyal customer for sure.

Tito has been cutting my husband's hair for about a decade, so I decided it was finally time to get our boys (2 and 4 yo) their first real haircut (I've been doing it for a few years 🙈). My kids look adorable and Tito was so patient and kind. He had them laughing, engaged, and they've been asking me for a haircut all the way home! Thank you again, we will be back!!

I recently went to Kevin for my first haircut at Montclair barbershop, and it was a great experience. From the start, he was professional, friendly, and made me feel comfortable. He took his time to understand what I wanted and delivered exactly that with attention to detail. The shop had a good vibe, and Kevin’s skills really showed in the final result. Definitely glad I went, and I’ll be coming back for future cuts. Highly recommend!

Easily the best and most consistent barbershop I’ve ever been to. I’ve tried the top spots in NYC and SF, even dropped $100 at high-end salons—but nothing compares. I genuinely love coming here. Tito might just be the GOAT, and his team is right there with him (shoutout to Kevin for the 🔥 cut today!). If there isn’t a convenient appointment, I either rearrange my schedule or throw on a hat and wait—100% of the time. Easy decision.

Tito and the crew are the best in the business! The place is modern with an upscale feel, with down to earth barbers and great conversation. I have been getting my hair cut for 5 year and will never go anywhere else aver again. Ask for Tito and make an appointment.
