Excellent barber shop by Monroe. Very professional staff and high-quality service. Prices are very reasonable for the level of care you get. The service is consistently excellent. It does get a bit crowded at times, so wait times can be longer, but it’s worth it. High-school kids especially love this place. Highly recommended.

There’s this one barber that is terrible. He is so bad at cutting hair on the top. He will leave one side with more hair than the other. What kind of a barber does that??? I do not know the guys name but he is quite large. Please choose any barber other than him. This is not the first time he’s left me with more hair on one side than the other. I had to choose him again because there were no other barbers available, and i did not want to spend any more time in the shop then I had to. Please do not go to him.

Worth every penny. Doesn't matter who you pick. This is the type of shop that, if you come out looking bad its your own fault haha. Been all over Monroe for years for a good barber. This one is home 💯💣💥

Tom’s is a hidden gem of a barber shop in Monroe twp /jamesburg New Jersey area! My whole life I’ve been the type to get a hair cut before or by the weekend and mid week return for a shape up and shave to keep my hair cut fresh and clean cut everyday all throughout the week. So needless to say I have had much experience sitting in the chair getting haircuts. But I must admit my 1st time at Tom’s I was very impressed. Lenny had taken care of me as a walk in on my 1st visit. The shop has a full staff of talented barbers. Like I just mentioned I was a walk in arrived with an hour and half until closing and even with a decent amount of clients waiting. I must not have waited no longer than 10 min to get my turn in the chair Lenny took care of me and I’m sold! Not to mention I have been loyal to my previous barber shop for over 10 years and I love those guys at my old shop no doubt but i guess it’s time to turn a new leaf. Tom’s Barbershop is now my new home. All the barbers have top of the line equipment and are highly skilled to make your experience at Tom’s flawless and offer precision and professionalism at its finest also a welcoming environment. Very fair prices also for a hair cut and straight blade edge up and shave to leave you with the freshest cut around can’t wait to see Lenny and the rest of the guys tomorrow.. My names Tom also so it must be destiny haha A1 five stars the best around for any style cut from Caesars and low / high fades / brooks /taper cuts and scissor cuts they do it all great shop nothing more to say here 💫👌👍✔️

This was my first time, and I couldn’t be more impressed with my experience! The barbers are highly skilled, and they took the time to understand exactly what I wanted for my son. The attention to detail was spot-on, and I could tell they really care about their craft. They have exceeded my expectations! Highly recommend this barbershop to anyone looking for a great experience and an excellent haircut!

I was referred here by one of my friends. Oh boy! Looks like I have found a gem. It’s going to be a go to for my boys. We got in with Lenny. Even though he didn’t speak/understand much English, he asked for help from another person about all the details and made sure he didn’t miss anything. Staff was super helpful and polite. They give proper time and do a really nice job with the haircuts. My son came out super impressed and happy with his haircut. They don’t take appointments but the wait time wasn’t bad at all. They move quickly and give enough time to each client. Highly recommend this place and Lenny. It’s affordable as well. Super happy with the service.

Highly recommended. First time customer. I’m 61 so my haircuts are basic. These guys spent twice the amount of time as the salon I used to go too. They trimmed my beard. Kept asking if everything good, anything else to do. Great service. Glad I found this place. My haircut looks awesome :).

My husband and my son come here and they both come home with the best cuts. They are always complimented on their haircuts. Jose and Joel have been taking care of them for years. I have met them, they are the kindest humans and they make you feel like family. I can't recommend this barbershop enough, great for my husband, great for my son and great for me. Win win win.

Bad experience on my recent visit, which was actually my second time getting a haircut there. Unlike my first experience on June 2, which was better, I received a poor haircut -- from the same barber -- a month later. While the first time was during the week, the second time was on a Saturday afternoon. They were busier. The haircut is not finished and doesn’t feel good. I feel that it would have been a better cut if they had not been as busy. Toward the end of the service the barber told me he had a customer waiting, but I waited as well and feel he could have spent more time. Early on, he chose to focus on the back first, though I showed him the part that needed the most work, which was not the back. They do answer the phone there, however, you cannot leave a message when the shop is closed, as their mailbox is full. From what I’ve experienced firsthand and from Google Maps’ “Response from the owner,” regarding negative reviews here, they blame the customer for not showing them a photo to guide the cut, among other nonsense. But I've learned that responses are not coming directly from the owner. The establishment accepts CASH ONLY and has made it clear that they do not take appointments. Haircuts are $25 and they are courteous in the shop. They have a sign-in sheet (paper) and you can also request the barber you want, by name. If they happen to respond to this review, I would hope it's friendly, accurate and professional. I left a tip both times that I got haircuts at the establishment.

Best Barber shop in Monroe Township. The folks here are very nice and friendly. Very talented hair specialists. They use very good quality instruments and other parts. You will definitely feel satisfied once you step out of this shop. Try once...you will keep coming here...
