ETA..Hi Bree! Thank you so much for responding to my review. Unfortunately we will have to agree to disagree on the timeline and the series of events. Your shop was so very cute tho! My 2 LOUD toddlers enjoyed walking around (for 38 minutes, thanks google!) and admiring all of the decorations and random signage. It's unfortunate you didn't have time to address me in person as we waited so patiently to utilize YOUR small business. Its also very sad that I got such a GRAND response via a Google review rather than formal greeting in YOUR shop. Maybe you should focus your energy back into your small business rather than gaslight a local mom and an HONEST Google review. Clearly you and your small business can't handle criticism. Your pettiness and lack of professionalism is showing girl...keep it real! Oh FYI, I utilized another local SMALL business who accommodated us with no problem, 1 full week before Thanksgiving on a Thursday afternoon. We were meet with friendliness, professionalism, and understanding. Its a shame some can't live up to that standard. Hope you enjoy Thanksgiving as well! JK Disappointed honestly, I really wanted to find a place local to cut my son's hair. Walked in, received no greeting at all. The website says they accept walk-ins, but you probably have to wait! No problem! I waited 40 minutes with my 4 year old son and 3 year old daughter to finally be acknowledged and than to be told they had no availability for him and to come back tomorrow??? Thanks, but no thanks. If you can't handle walk-ins, especially a child, maybe you should remove that from your website and replace it with BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Clearly not everyone's business is wanted and just remember your not the only barber around...

Hi Jen,
I’m sorry you were upset that we were unable to accommodate a last-minute haircut request during the week before Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, that is one of the busiest times of the year for us, and although we accommodate walk-ins almost all the time, it can be extremely difficult around holidays. Even then, we always do our best.
You arrived at the shop at 1:17 p.m. and sat in the corner. At that time, all of our barbers—including myself—were with clients, and there were additional customers already waiting. We operate on 30-minute appointments, which means someone is consistently at the front either checking out a client or bringing another one back every half hour. As you observed, our cutting room is separate from the waiting area, so it is not always possible to see every person entering or exiting in real time, though we do have cameras.
We do not have a receptionist at the front desk, which allows us to keep costs down and continue offering reasonably priced haircuts. When you entered, the front desk—with the price board above it—is directly in front of the door. At the top of that board, it states: “IF YOU DON’T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT LET SOMEBODY KNOW.” At 1:40 p.m., approximately 20 minutes after you arrived, one of our barbers came out, asked if you had an appointment, and attempted to fit you in. The exchange became difficult, and I was able to hear the entire conversation from the other side of the wall.
While our website states that walk-ins are welcome, it also recommends making an appointment. It provides multiple links to download our app for scheduling, as well as our phone number so customers can call ahead to check whether we can take a walk-in that day.
It appears you are relatively new to the Tabernacle area, and it is disappointing to see a small business—one that has been part of and has supported this community since 1963—portrayed negatively online. I also noticed your eight Google reviews, only three of which were positive. I hope you will consider supporting local businesses and contributing positively to the community.
I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family.
Sincerely,
Bree

My newly two year old decided today that he HATES haircuts. Paige was so patient and did a great job! Really can’t understate that she could probably give an angry chimpanzee a haircut after today and it would be a breeze 🤣

I went here for the first time yesterday. I scheduled an appointment through the app at around 10 am and was able to get one the same day for 1PM. There is a decent sized waiting room and I was taken not long after my appointment time. Paige took her time and did not rush which resulted in a great haircut. It had been some time since I had my hair cut by someone other than me as I have been razor shaving my head for about 15 years. Paige was very helpful and gave me different options. I also got my beard trimmed which came out great as well. I feel the price very reasonable and I will be back the next time I need a haircut.

I took the little boy I babysit to Bree at Famous Razor. Despite the fact that he’s a three year-old moving target, she gave him the perfect haircut that his mother loved. He’s been back again and will be getting another one before school in September. Be sure to download their app so you can make an appointment, they get busy!

I been coming here for about 10 yrs with my son. Never a problem and never a bad cut regardless of who I saw. They are great professional and always a pleasure to talk to and kid around with. You almost always need an appt which is fine because I remember sitting for a long time there before appts. With that being said I got lucky today and was able to get two walk-in cuts for me and the boy. Again they are all great!!! I did read some of the bad reviews just for a chuckle, I like how when you check their other reviews they left for other businesses they are all bad. Think some of those reviewers need to look in the mirror!

Been going to Famous Razor for the last 4 years and can honestly say that Bree and the crew are both amazing barbers and cool people. Dawn is my go to and honestly the best beard and cut I have probably ever had. I was nervous when my previous barber Lindsey left because I’m so particular, but Dawn stepped up and knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend famous razor and suggest you ask for Dawn especially if you need a beard trim.

Had an appointment today with Dawn to have my beard trimmed and shaped. She did a great job. Beard looks perfect. I was greeted when I arrived, everyone was very nice, and the process was quick. Don't know what these other people were complaining about. My first visit was the great and I will be going back. Thanks ladies! See you soon!

Bree is awesome. My son and I have even going to her plane for almost 10 years. Great company, great experience, and great person. She and her awesome group of ladies have really built on old fashioned barber shop with reasonable pricies and an awesome atmosphere. Follows all pandemic protocols and let’s people be themselves. Keep up the great work. Love the t-shirt too!
