I took my 16 month old son here for his first cut and we couldn’t have had a better experience. From when we first walked in I felt welcomed and everyone was friendly, even the other customers. Jon was the barber and he was perfect. I didn’t think we would get through 5 minutes of him sitting still, but Jon was beyond patient and gave him the BEST first cut I could have asked for. Kudos to him and we will be customers for as long as he works there. Definitely a top notch shop!

Been coming here since around Covid, I bring my 7year old son as well, both Miami Dave and Noelia have been amazing, awesome spot, music / conversation / TVs… can’t go wrong

I’ve been going to Roman at Exclusive Cuts for about 3 years now, and I honestly wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else. He originally started cutting my hair and beard at the Matawan location, and when he moved to Holmdel, I followed him without hesitation—that’s how good he is. Roman is super consistent, pays attention to detail, and always makes sure the haircut and beard comes out exactly how you want it. Every visit feels professional and relaxed, and I always leave feeling fresh and confident. If you’re looking for top-tier cuts and a barber who truly knows what he’s doing, Roman at Exclusive Cuts is the one. Highly recommend!

We brought our 5 year old son in for a haircut with Javier last week and unfortunately during the haircut, the razor cut my son’s ear. I did not make a scene but expected the barber to at least ask my son if he was okay. But nothing was said. When I went to check on my son, the barber only said “my bad” and nothing else. I would have expected better and certainly wouldn’t expect my son to be injured this way. This is his 3rd haircut at a barber, but first time at Exclusive, and we won’t be back. We were also charged full price for the cut.

Oh my god I am so sorry this happened!!! This is Rob, one of the owners. first off please come stop in so I can return your payment back for this haircut along with give you an apology in person. I remember your family being here and I’m extremely disappointed that this was your experience here with us. <br>I had a talk with the barber and told him that this is completely unacceptable. He understands and takes accountability for how poorly he handled the situation. <br>He was using one of his sharper buzzers used for creating sharp detailed lines instead of his “kids trimmer”. We all have less sharp trimmers that we use on children so that this doesn’t happen incase the tip accidentally swipes the ear. <br>Im very sorry for this incident and appreciate you making us aware. <br><br>I would love the opportunity to give you your money back and give you a proper apology. <br>Thank you

Due to chemo induced neuropathy, I can no longer cut my own hair. I've been cutting it since college, for 50 years! Yes, I'm a senior. I went searching online for a barber shop that could cut my thinning hair and not balk because I'm African American. I got a feel good vibe the moment I walked in. The shop hostess was very efficient and welcoming. The guys were courteous, patient, and quite skilled. But make a reservation as this place is very busy! I was given a great price and a discount coupon for my next visit. I'll definitely be back.

62 year old man going to them for over 10 years. Cut is always 10 out of 10 . Rob’s haircut makes me look 10 years younger every time. Give it a try you will never go anywhere else.

Super happy with my son’s haircut. I showed Jon G a picture of what I was hoping for and he executed it to perfection! Our first haircut (at a different place) was rushed, poorly cut, and ultimately very disappointing. I am thankful to have found this place! Jon G took his time, was meticulous, and made my son very comfortable during the whole process. He was great with little kids and we are both happy with his new look! I loved that even though the place was very busy, no barber was rushing through their haircuts. It is evident they all take their time and give each client their full attention!
