I’ve been going to Mike’s for 20 years and I’ve never had a bad cut, or a boring conversation. Mike, Mike Jr., and Barbara all fixtures in the Lincroft community and we are lucky to have them. I have recently moved from Lincroft to Bradley Beach but will continue to go to Mike’s.

I took my toddler in for his first haircut with Mike Sr. We had an excellent experience from start to finish. Mike immediately engaged with my son and made him feel at ease. No tears at all! And a great haircut. We'll be clients forever. Thanks Mike!

Asked for skin fade on the phone and upon arriving to appointment. Barber either didn’t know what a skin fade was or didn’t want to give me one. Proceeded to talk about herself for the entirety of the haircut, asking me the same questions multiple times and not listening to answers. Was checking her phone throughout the haircut between boasting about her other businesses and giving me an uneven haircut. Will not be going back.

We take our 2 year old son to Mike Jr. for his haircuts and it is an enjoyable experience every time! Mike Jr. is so good with kids, he is encouraging and patient and kind and funny. It makes such a difference for the overall toddler haircut experience. And you will not find a better haircut for your kid than Mike! It is easy to call for appointments or book on the app. Great price, and plenty of lollipops to take as a treat after the cut.

I can’t recommend these guys enough! Both Mike Jr and Mike Sr were amazing with my toddler who HATES getting haircuts. This was the first time he didn’t cry. They’re very professional and patient and know how to make a child feel comfortable.

I've been getting excellent haircuts from Mike's for 30 years now. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is friendly, just what you'd expect from a neighborhood barbershop. The new online scheduling eliminates the wait times, making life a little easier for those with busy schedules.

I’ve been coming to Mike’s Barber Shop for 20+ years. I went to Mike, then Michele, and now Mike Jr. The service has been fantastic since I was a kid even until now at an affordable rate. I’ve always gotten a fantastic, very detailed hair cut in a timely manner. They take their time when they need to and make sure you look your best. Today - I brought my son for his first ever hair cut and I plan on returning him there for as long as Mike’s is around. I’ll give them as much business as I can.

Mike was great for our son’s first haircut!! He made mom and baby feel relaxed and comfortable - Dad even made the switch to this shop! Mike and the staff are great, friendly and have that old time feel that make you feel like family! We couldn’t be happier 😊

COVID UPDATE: THIS is how you reopen a barber shop. The process was safe from beginning to end. You make a 20 minute appt through their online appointment scheduler- Booksy. You arrive for your haircut and they text you when it's time to go in. There are only 3 seats in waiting area and 3 by barbers. ALL have more than 6ft between them. And there's really no reason to have to wait inside. I went from my car to the chair to my finished cut within the allotted 20 minutes. Barbers all wore masks correctly and everything including the chairs were sanitized after each customer. Hand sanitizer is available upon entrance and exit. Can't think of anything else that they could do to make the experience feel any more safe. Really nice to see a small business take customer health and safety so seriously. Original Review: Been going to Mike's for years. Phenomenal traditional barber shop. Great cuts, great conversation and a real local customer base. Highly recommend.
