Been going here since I moved to the area. Lex is great! She always gets my faux-hawk just right. She can do a really good fade. And everyone in the shop is always friendly.

So they are probably not expecting this review as I was fairly respectful and even tipped when I was there. I came in requesting a very basic trim/low fade that took the barber probably like 5-7 minutes to complete - because it was fairly simple and my go-to barber was out of town. To be honest, I didn't really have too much of an issue with the trim as it was my first time there, they haven't cut me before, haven't worked with my hair type, etc... So any reasonable person has to accept the first time won't be perfect. I waffled a bit in explaining what I wanted but, a sole low taper fade and only clean up around the ears should be simple enough for someone to understand imo. Especially considering I articulated I wanted to grow my hair out fully and not shorten my sides or the top; otherwise it defeats the whole purpose of me growing it out in the first place. She did a good job and the fade/clean-up around the ears came out good. What irked me is that I got charged the price of a full haircut when in reality all I got was a trim/simple fade. There was no scissor work or layering the hair that had alot of length or sophisticated fade. I don't really care about the money (I pay alot more at my main barber) but, it's the principle. If the trim takes 5-7 minutes it would be a nice courtesy to not charge the customer the full price of a full blown 30-min haircut. I'm not insulting the workers' skill or knowledge but, it gets frustrating seeing this type of thing happen more and more even in businesses outside of barbering....

Glad to hear the partial haircut came out good.

If it wasn’t a full haircut, you should not have been charged full price.

I always tell my barbers to use their judgement when doing a service.

You can reach out to Sam and I’ll be more than happy to refund you some of the money.

I just moved to the area and needed a new barber. Was looking for something asap so I searched a few places and found them. I saw Samantha had an opening and booked it 30 minutes before getting there. Beautiful shop and amazing haircut, straight razor on the neck and everything. Very quick too. Very impressed, thank you!

Casey’s been cutting my hair for years, now I’ve started bringing my son since he was one. She’s been awesome with him, working with his fears/quirks, moving from scissors to buzzers etc. and finally sits on his own at the last appointment. (~2yrs) She built the trust with him, made it enjoyable and would highly recommend her. She’s been cutting the same style on me excellently for years but she helped create the style from the beginning when I started coming. Love going here.

Took my son for a haircut and told the lady that we are trying to grow his hair so need to do a light fade on the side and back and blend in and just touchup rest of the head for a fresh cut look. She took a good inch off the front which used to look like bangs (trying to grow hair long) and was adamant that it looked much better. Had no clue how to shape sideburns and cut them way high. Didn’t know how to blend from short to long as it looked 2 distinct partitions of hair. I had to take him to a REAL barber to get it fixed, who said “someone killed his front head line”. NEVER AGAIN!! UPDATE after owner's response: The picture in this review is from a different barber shop where I had to go after to get his hair fixed. Interested to know how you got the impression from camera footage that I asked her to cut his hair short. The only reason I had my son sit back down is due to the fact that she didn't touch the top at all. I only asked her to at least trim the uneven tips of his hair so his get a fresh look. What she did was to cut the his front bangs. You can ask her that I even asked her why she took his bangs away to that she replied that this (uneven-ness) actually looks better. And, I DID NOT asked her to keep cutting his hair shorter, why would I??? Trimming and cutting more than an inch of hair is not the same. I do not think there is any reasonable explanation for this action.

Hi Farrukh, you were in on Wednesday. After reviewing the camera, my BARBER explained to you over and over again in detail about your son hair. She was initially done, and left it long. You had your son sit back down and had her cut the hair shorter. She explained over and over again about your sons front hairline. And you wanted her to keep cutting it shorter and she kept telling you, you shouldn’t because you comb it to the side. And who are you to say she isn’t “REAL” barber. This BARBER is a REAL barber, works very hard and has a huge clientele in our shop. Sorry we couldn’t meet your expectations.

Update to your response:
Bottom line is, it would have been nice for you to contact the owner and given her the opportunity to resolve this issue first, instead of running to Google to leave a 1 star review. I would have been more than happy to address the situation and talk it out and make the haircut more of what you were looking for, free of charge.
