My husband got a haircut here today. We’re from Oklahoma and happened to be in town. This is without question the most precise haircut he’s ever had. 10/10 recommend

The hair cut experience at this place is amazing. Make an appointment, get there, no wait and get the wonderful haircut. Khalid is the guy to go to. Very professional and sweet person.

I have been coming to NY STAR Barbershop for a little over three years now from the recommendation of a friend. Khalid is incredibly professional, courteous, and understands exactly what you are asking for. He takes his time and ensures everything is ok with your cut while also being a really nice guy to converse with and get to know. The prices are also extremely low and below the competition. I would highly recommend everybody to give this barbershop a visit. Main thing to keep in mind is this shop is appointment only and not walk-in so make sure you call and book a time PRIOR to coming in.

Been going to NY Star since 2010! Kalid the owner is nothing but a hard working, professional, kind and respectful gentleman! Now, I bring the kids there too and he is great with them! Excellent detailed fades which many friends and family of mine also agree. If you have a problem with anything just communicate with him like a respectful human being and he will 100% do his best to make you a happy returning customer!

Very bad service and rude workers, no greetings, no smile, don’t even like reply back to client’s questions. Very harsh behavior, he was literally pinching trimmers into my face and head skin. Not only once but couple of times i requested him, please use your machine softly, you are hurting me. But he was ignoring me , I have to leave the place without my complete hair and beard grooming. I went to the senior barber for the payment and complained him but he was not interested listening to me. Please don’t visit this place. There is nothing personal, it’s all my honest review.

We've been taking our boys to Khalid for over 10yrs. He's easy to get appointments with and he has always been accommodating. Great place for the whole family to get cuts.

Absolutely the best!!! I’ve been coming here and also bringing my son here for 14 years. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our hair. The owner is a master at hair cutting. He is consistent every time and very professional. Really nice guy. The shop was recently renovated and looks very nice and is always clean. Even after we moved 30 minutes away we still come here every month. I will continue to come here until I have no hair left to cut! Or he retires. 😊

Follow up: lesson not learned. I showed up at 6:20pm, but had door locked, opened after knocking and said you don’t have an appointment. Pricing is not cheap, but barbers are skilled at cutting hair. One of them (owner) lacks time management and communication skills. I called a few days ago at 11:45am and owner gave me a 12:30pm appointment, I showed up on the dot. Owner finished with someone at 12:45pm then took another person that was waiting cuz he was running late. He takes walk-ins and appointments. Today i walked in, owner finished with someone, two others waiting, one gets up to get cut, other says he’s a walk-in, then owner tells me that i need an appointment and writes me down for over two hours later! I mentioned the previous fiasco and he didn’t even apologize! Instead he argued with me. I walked out and will return for the scheduled appointment in a couple of hours. I will write reviews every single time he and I interact. Hoping lessons get learned

My family has been going here for years the best haircut you could possibly get I had to get haircuts from others when they were closed or busy I regret it every time because no one offers the same type of haircut as NY Star Barber. On top of that the pricing is amazing.

I have been going here for the past 10 years, the barbers here are great at what they do and great people in general. I always look forward to getting my haircut and seeing the guys here. Definitely recommend this place over everything, they've never done me wrong. Just ask and they'll do whatever cut you need.
