I used to come to the shop always as a customer when it first opened 11 years ago when he first opened up in Garfield (Bergen County). I was his apprentice for the first summer back in 2009 (in my high-school days and I learned a lot from RICK & his partners. When I first started being around a group of men, they were always friendly and made me feel welcomed with open arms. Rick’s barbershop is very friendly with the freshest haircuts and open atmosphere. I give this rating a 5. I couldn’t ask for a better person to learn about how to maintenance hair cuts and more

After my local barber moved away, I struggled to find a new barber who would gave me the same quality haircut I was used to. I was hesitant at first, but after reading the other reviews and hearing good things about this place from friends, I decided on Rick's. Setting up an appointment was easy, I just called Rick and he scheduled me for the next day. When I arrived I was greeted with respect and the shop's friendly atmosphere. I told Rick what I wanted (a number 2 with a low fade), and in around 30 mins he was done. It came out perfect, and believe it or not, even better and quicker than my old barber! I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely continue coming here. I'm happy to call this place my new shop.

Never leave Rick’s Barbershop disappointed. My son and I have been going past 5 years, his team is very accommodating and very professional. Barbers in tune with latest and greatest trending hairstyles and can go throw back for Old School Heads. Would definitely recommend!!!

Hand's Down, THE BEST BARBERSHOP IN GARFIELD! Not only is Rick's barbershop filled with some of the best barbers in town, but the environment is fun, family-friendly, and always a good time either waiting your turn or while you're getting a cut. BEST BARBER?? They're all good, but I'd say ASK FOR JULIO (aKa JULY)! He's been my barber for 15 years now, Skills are A+, and I don't even need to check his work before I leave, I know I'm good when I get out of his chair. Definitely check this spot out if you're in need of a barber!

Rick's Barber Shop is great place to get a quality haircut! The owner is friendly and always concern about all customers who enter his establishment. Anthony, Julio, and Rick has always made my family and I feel welcome and respected. You can book appointment or walk in and wait for the next available barber. All barbers have a unique set a Ricks so come through check it out and hopefully you will be another satisfied customer!

Highly recommended to anyone who wants a barber with substance! It's not easy finding a good barber nowadays and I just got lucky with Rick! He does amazing work! I appreciate the time detail and skill Rick puts in and nothing feels rushed! Besides that it's a very clean professional atmosphere. Rick's Barber Shop is awesome!

Rick is one of a kind! My son and I have been going to his barbershop for over 10 years and it has never been a dull moment. His precision and attention to detail is impeccable. I would highly recommend his barbershop to everyone. It is great for families and individuals. If your in the northern New Jersey area check him out!!
