Don’t listen. Told them I want a low taper skin… idk what they gave me. I’m actually disappointed I paid for it… it didn’t look bad until I got to the car and actually looked close up. Edit: went back and showed them a pic of what I wanted, he was nice and attempted to fix it. Still didn’t do a good job. Not worth 55 bucks

I went to take my son to get a shape up and fade and when I walked-in I asked them did they take walk-ins( they have a sign saying walk-in’s welcome) told me to wait to see if they had someone available and everybody just seemed clueless and not helpful. So I walked out and went across the street to another barbershop and was successful with that! Very disappointed and won’t be going back!

Been going here with my 2 sons for a number of years now.. Great place to get haircuts, the atmosphere is chill, the barbers are fun. They really make you comfortable. James the owner always takes the time to say hello and chat when he is around. Romano and Kevin are 2 of the best around

Booked an appointment online with James. I show up and the woman at the front tells me to have a seat. Sat and waited for 25 minutes until she finally tells me that James is "super backed up" and asks if I could see another barber. AJ did a great job - no complaints there. The scheduling was a bummer though. I was there for 90 minutes total. I've never been to a barber that was this bad at scheduling. I doubt I'll be back.

This is my go to spot. I always make my appointment with Kevin. He’s very professional and has always taken care of me. He makes suggestions based on your hair style and I can honestly say I have never had a better hair cut. This man is an artist when it comes to his profession. Highly recommend him and suite 23 barbershop. Very clean and super chill environment. Wouldn’t go anywhere else this place has been a blessing.

Best barber shop I have been to hands down. I get cut by Kevin and he is extremely professional and has great attention to detail. Since I started coming last year, I’ll never go to another shop for a cut. Upscale environment and quality cut. Would recommend to anyone in the area to check them out

The owner James has been cutting my hair for the last 7 years and I was excited when he opened this location for himself. I have followed him from Jackson to Coltsneck and finally to Freehold. Suite 23 has a great style and feel it's a great place to bring kids for the current trends. The staff and other barber's are friendly and talented. You won't leave suite 23 disappointed.

I have always been very happy with the quality of haircuts that my 2 sons have received at Suite 23. Every time my boys get their hair cuts they come out smiling. With that being said, EVERY time we have made an appointment, they have had to wait for at LEAST 45 minutes AFTER their scheduled time to get seen. Today I dropped my 16 year old son off to get his hair cut and it took 1 hour and 40 minutes from the time he walked in at his scheduled appointment time, until the time he was actually done. When I confronted the owner about this, he was VERY RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL! He YELLED and said that he had been working since 4 am and that he can’t control people who are late. You are absolutely right! You can’t control others but you can call the waiting customers and explain that they are running late and can you come later. You could also reschedule the late appointments for another day and time. You CAN control the way you speak to paying “cash only” customers. HORRIBLE customer service! Needless to say, we will NOT be returning.

Great place and great staff. I've been coming to this barber shop for 3 years and not once have I had a bad cut. The only negative that I would say is that I have NEVER got in the chair right when my appointment is supposed to be. That's cool though because you could spend hours in there looking at the merchandise they have for sale. Overall great place and great people. Definitely recomend anyone tries it out.

Went in today looking for a good local barber shop. While waiting I used the wifi and had a chat with a long time customer while sitting in a comfy couch. Romano was able to take me after one of his appointments cancelled after about a 25 min wait. He was very friendly and we had a great conversation, very down to earth. Clean hair cut, nice and sharp. I'm very happy with the result and will be a return customer.
