I’ve been going to Master Clips for over a year now, and it’s easily the best barbershop I’ve been to. Franklin has been my regular barber. He’s excellent at understanding my style, especially when it comes to my beard. He’s always cheerful and does an outstanding job every single time. The shop offers both walk-ins and appointments. Scheduling an appointment costs a bit more (about $20 extra), but it’s totally worth it if you have a preferred barber and want to skip the wait. Walk-ins are also welcome, but if your barber is in demand, appointments get priority. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other shops, and the quality of service far exceeds what you’d expect. Even though I now live about 30 miles away, I still drive down here for my haircut and beard trim. Highly recommend Master Clips and Franklin.

Albin Castaño at Master Clips Edison Barbershop is outstanding. He’s professional, detail-oriented, and really takes the time to understand exactly what you want. The haircut came out clean, sharp, and better than I expected. The shop has a great vibe, and Albin’s consistency and skill truly set him apart. If you’re looking for a barber who cares about quality and precision, Albin is the one to book. Highly recommend!

One of the hardest thing is finding that one barber who understands and tailored your style of cutting. I have always tried different barbers see which one can understand me. Before Franky I have many different Barbers and non can touch Franky. He understands the business, he understands his customer, no matter through the thick and thin he always smiling and giving you his best. The people here are amazing, Most other Barbers charge $60-$100 and still not good enough. Franky still humble and charges reasonable price compare to other's. You have to try to believe it

Absolutely outstanding service! Albin did an incredible job with both my haircut and beard trim. He paid great attention to detail, understood exactly what I wanted, and executed it perfectly. The fade is clean, the beard is sharp, and the overall finish looks professional and fresh. On top of that, Albin is friendly, patient, and truly skilled at his craft. Easily one of the best barber experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend Albin to anyone looking for a sharp, confident look!

Super clean and very professional barbershop. Dilson, Diego, Jason, Joey, Franklin and the rest of the crew are great! 11/03/2025 I was working in the East Brunswick, New Jersey area as well as Bayside, New York. Dilson, Jason, and Joey are no longer at this location. However, Franklin is still there and he is still the man! I will continue to patronage this location as long as Franklin and Diego are still employed at this location. Both Master Barbers have awesome skills and provide you with a phenomenal haircut. 12/16/2025 The Master Franklin does it again! Outstanding Skills! Yes, he can cut a "Dead Straight" across the brow hairline but he knows I like my natural hairline with my natural "Widows Peak!"

Albin is the man! Easily one of the best barbers I’ve ever been to. He takes his time, listens to exactly what you want, and delivers a super clean, detailed cut every single time. Was definitely contemplating writing this review or not but decided to write it to get it out. I’ve been going there for years but my recent haircut was an upset. For months (more than 9 months) I’ve been growing and maintaining my hair with them. My recent cut (probably will be last) I went and only wanted a trim just to remove all the spike hair but the barber decided to cut a lot which I didn’t want or ask for. Now I have to walk around with something I didn’t want or ask for. I was just starting to feel comfortable and loving it because it was at a decent length and people was beginning to compliment me. Since he cut it I have go through that “ugly” stage again. It just hurtful when I took my time and the late night store runs for conditioner I did to maintain my hair and someone just cut all my gains. One advice before cutting someone hair cut a little first than ask the person is that ok or lower, because once you cut it you can’t put it. I had to write my review being a loyal customer for years and I felt betrayed when that happened
