I was hesitant to leave a review because I really do like this shop and the staff but after a reading a review with almost identical experience I felt I should leave my review. The shop is very chill, welcoming , and has a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. I went from very long hair to my first short cut. I had Ariel cut my hair for nearly a year and she was extremely talented and I loved going to her. Unfortunately she no longer works there. I was set up with another experienced barber but when I arrived I found out I was set up with Jack unbeknownst to me. This is only the second time I saw him in the shop. As the other reviewer stated my hair was butchered. I was too upset to even share what was wrong and just wanted to leave. When I looked at the other barbers schedule to book with someone else everyone was booked. Jake is a very nice individual just does not deliver a good haircut.

My husband and son both have gotten their hair cut by Stacey. She always does an excellent job, and my husband’s hair is not easy to cut! Stacey made my toddler feel comfortable and was so friendly towards him.

The barber shop was nice and so were the barbers but my haircut is horrible. I paid $60 which was insane. I messaged them asking for another barber but they told me they’re booked. So I basically got robbed and the kid butchered my hair. His name is jack

Broken Anchor is an amazing barbershop to go for a cut. Exceptional service and attention to details. Joe is the best! Shop is lively and everyone is very friendly. Highly recommend!

Great space and atmosphere…the staff and overall experience is the perfect combination of professional yet relaxed. But - all that is secondary to the amazing haircut I get time after time from Emily. Broken Anchor is the complete package.

This place is amazing. It is everything you need and want from a barbershop, great cuts, good people, and fun conversations. Emily and Joe are straight up artist with clippers and scissors. My 3 sons, ages 6, 11, and 12, and I all get our cuts here and won’t go anywhere else.

I Highly Recommend Barbershop 💈! First, the atmosphere is very chill. The shop itself is on Merchant Street In Audubon, so it is in Prime location and very convenient. The decor is awesome. I really like that they run appointment only. For me, I am a business owner and travel heavily. I don’t have a lot of time... especially for a haircut. So, appointments and being on time are very important to me. My Barber is Joe, the guy is nice, funny and very good at what he does. Now I mean no offense or any disrespect but White People Are not traditionally good at Fading hair. I usually go to a Black Barbershop or a Hispanic one because they are very skilled with Fading, Blending etc... But Joe did awesome. And from what I understand all of the Barbers there can Fade very well. Honestly, this place is awesome and worth taking the trip too.

This was my first time at a barber shop, but I have to say I had a great experience. Ariel was very friendly and professional, and my haircut looks great! The pricing was very reasonable for a high quality hair cut. I get compliments on it every where I go, and needless to say I don't plan on going anywhere else from now on. Thank you so much, Ariel!
