I moved out of the area and am unable to get my haircut by Sean as frequently as I want. But I still make it a priority to get back to talking heads when I can because they are the best. The shop is like no other facility and you just feel so comfortable there. Highly recommend!! Much love!!

I’ve been to dozens of barbers and salons over the years. Dylan gave me one of the best scissor cuts I’ve ever had today. The precision and detail was a reminder that cutting hair is an art form, and there are levels to it. Very impressed.

Guy gives a sick haircut. Every time I leave I get looked up and down on the street like a piece of meat. I’m horribly ugly…. Talking Heads and Dylan are my only hope at a romantic future…. Couldn’t live without them! Review update - Married with 3 kids because of my haircut. Thanks Dylan.

Dylan is an excellent barber! He’s detail-oriented, friendly, and really listens to what you want. One of the best cuts I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!

They always do a great job. I usually have Sean, but Maria worked on me today because I waited until last minute to schedule. She did an excellent job!

Per usual, Sean held it down! A true artist makes it easy to just turn your mind off and say "I trust you dawg." Versatile, conversationally-gifted, and immensely talented with the clippers -- Sean is my forever #1 barber in NJ.

I've been coming to Talking Heads since it opened. Andrew has been cutting my hair for a long time. This place is clean, professional and seemingly every barber has a super solid repertoire. John and his team are welcoming and hospitable. Their business model matches the Asbury Park culture which is steeped in music. But one of my personal favorite "secrets" about this shop is they legitimately have the best curated record collection in all of Asbury Park. Its a smaller collection, about 3 crates. But its packed with rare gems, og presses, represses you didnt know you needed, REASONABLE prices. Its legit.

Just got my haircut here for the first time. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Very clean. Dylan cut my hair. Obviously knew what he was doing, loved what he was doing, and took pride in it. I’m 51, and this is the best haircut I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back.

Kristina is amazing. We’ve been bringing our 3 year old son to her for several months now and she does an excellent job each time. Our son feels super comfortable with her too which helps a ton with giving a toddler a haircut. Great place. Great staff. Very inviting . Top notch haircuts.

Amazing barbershop. Been coming here for over 5 years... The entire crew here have amazing energy, are passionate about what they do, and genuinely appreciate every single customer. John, Andrew, Sean, Joe, and Stephan are all cool and can hold great communal conversations with all the clients in their respective chairs. Besides the amazing crew. THE MUSIC PLAYING IS ALWAYS PERFECT!
