It was my first time visiting the barber shop. John was the only person cutting hair, and the owner, Peter, was on vacation. It was busy, but it was worth the wait. Peter listend and cut my hair pretty well. I liked the old fashion neck shaving with the warm foam. There's plenty of space for seating, and its kids friendly. John knew how talk to the boys and gave them a sucker as a prize. I'll be back.

Walked in and didn’t wait long. Old time 💈 barbershop feel ( Like it should be) Peter was friendly and efficient . Will definitely be my go to now for haircuts

Walked in on a Thursday afternoon and waited about 10 minutes. My husband got a great cut from Peter. Charges $22 before tip. Great experience!

I’ve recently moved out of the area in the last year (3.5 hours away). I have had terrible luck finding a barber. I’ve decided to make a trip every month to month and a half to stop by and have John get my hair just right. It’s an excellent atmosphere. John and Peter are both awesome.

Peter and John ,the 2 expert professionals with over 30 years experience each one, in a simple friendly atmosphere do their magic on all kinds of hair cuts quick and to the best possible style . A clean and friendly place , with very logic prices for the excellent work done. No appointments. A rare private professional business among all these ..poor chains...my husband and my sons are thrilled and extremely satisfied that they got their excellent hair cuts every month!!!

These gentlemen know their stuff! Reasonable haircut prices and professional work! My husband and son got a top notch haircut and spent less than going to Sports Cuts (which they have loved for years the one in Matthews). Here is $22 for just the haircut, while at Sports Clips it's $26 for the haircut. No overhead pressuring you either for product or anything else. Just good service, and a great cut, with a smile and pleasant conversation.

Update to original review. So I came back today and got my hair cut and they did an awesome job. Even though it was a Saturday and they were very busy I didn’t wait long and they still gave me a very detailed hair cut. Now even though this was my second time in I totally forgot to bring cash and they only accept cash or check. They literally told me to just pay at my next hair cut. I couldn’t believe it!!! Who allows that now days, these guys really are amazing. Of course I didn’t leave them hanging until next cut I just brought the cash back an hour later, but I really appreciate them treating me so well. Original review: My 7 year old son and I came in for a haircut and they took great care of us. It was a little busy but they had toys for my son to play with and a whole basket of suckers he could snack on. They did a great job on both of us. I did call ahead trying to make an appointment but they don’t do appointments it’s just first come first serve.
