Great shop with barbers who seem to genuinely enjoy their work. I'm a 78 year old bald guy with a full beard and Amy usually shaves my head and trims my beard and does a great job.

I got my haircut here a couple of times. They are way too busy only because of location they are at. For the most part, they're they're pretty rude . The girl that cuts my hair did a fair job but then started messing up pretty bad so I'm going to stop going there. I suggest finding a better place. This one is not that great

I cannot speak highly enough about Amy! She gave my toddler a phenomenal haircut and was so gentle and patient with him. 10/10 recommend and we will be back!!

Some lady absolutely botched my hair on Wednesday. It looks absolutely nothing like the picture i showed her. She barely even glanced at my phone. She should have said me she didnt how to do it if she was gonna screw it up so badly.

I can't say anything bad about this place. Called in on a Friday and they accepted us as a walk-in. Did not wait long at all and even though you wouldn't typically consider this barbershop kid friendly, it totally is. Our barber rocked my 2 year olds hair cut getting him to laugh and become comfortable. Friendly staff and we do plan to be back!

Montana is my typical barber and is fantastic! His attention to detail is great and he has the ability to do whatever random style I feel at that time. Although he's my normal go-to, every guy (and woman) are all highly skilled, professional and friendly. I tried multiple barbershops in the Charlotte/Matthews area and finally found my home here where every box is checked. I cannot recommend them highly enough and their already stellar reviews should prove how far they are above local competition.

Always a great experience at Matthews Barber Shop 2! Cooper is my barber, and he always hooks me up with a fresh cut, and for an awesome price. I've been going to him now for a couple of years, and I have no intention of switching. Nice, friendly atmosphere!
