I strongly advise against visiting this salon. I've been a loyal customer of several salons in the Matthews and Elizabeth areas for the past 4-5 years, and I decided to try this place for a change today. Unfortunately, communication was challenging due to a significant language barrier with the staff, even when attempting to use Google Translate. I had originally scheduled an appointment with Rachel, but arrived early and made the mistake of not waiting for her—instead, I went with Long Hu. I requested a medium-length professional haircut, but he simply used clippers on dry hair and cut it far shorter than requested. Honestly, I would have received better service at Great Clips than what I experienced at this supposedly professional salon. I will definitely be returning to my trusted salons, Gisso and Salon 131, from now on.

Great place. Walked in and got taken care of right away. People are friendly and a much better neighborhood place to spend your $ than the other two corporate chains in the area.

You'll get the fastest cut of your life and then look in the mirror and go: "Dang, why have all the other cuts taken so much longer??" Cause even though they're speedy - the haircuts look great. Genuinely got more comments on my hair after coming here then anywhere before

I've switched to them and am currently in for my roughly 5th or 6th cut now. They just get my hair right and the less expensive places seem to take less care.

I have had my hair cut by Long 3 times now. He is consistent and takes the time to listen to how you would like your haircut. He does a great job, and I recommend him to anyone looking for a new barber. Great service, great haircut.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon and had an appointment I set up online with John. He was awesome and did an incredible job on my hair! He has expertise with clippers that I was blown away by and ensured that my haircut not only looked awesome but was perfectly even all around. John is an outstanding barber and I will absolutely be back to get my haircut from him again. Thanks John!

John Ho has been cutting hair in the Matthews area for years. Like the new spot off McKee and Weddington road better than his old spot off Monroe Rd. He does a classic barber fade that looks great. Other stylists available for all hair types. You can make an appointment online now too but walk-ins are usually welcome.
