After reaching the age of 70+ and visiting many Barber shops, I finally found a NEW Barber shop that I will look forward to returning to. Larry is perfection. Thank you and I will see you soon, again. DJ

I’m very picky about my haircut. In my 65 years I have only been to 4 different barbers I like. Only changing when they retire. Larry has been cutting my hair for the last 10+ years. He is one of the best barbers I know.

Larry the Legend did an amazing job on my boys hair. He walked out of there so happy! Limited parking, steep curb when pulling in/out, so go slow if you have a lower car. Cash only, super fair pricing. Quick in and out cuts, even when they are busy.

I went there yesterday for the first time and was welcomed upon walking in by both Larry and Shane. Shane cut my hair absolutely perfectly. I am prior military and hold a high standard for my hair looks. Shane exceeded my expectations and now I will be back always. If you are new to the Oakboro, Stanfield, Locust, or Midland areas, I promise you will not go wrong here. Great guys and some good old-school haircuts with fun BS interjected.

My husband and 1 year old son needed haircuts today so we stopped in and I am so glad we did !!! Shannon and Larry were fantastic and both my guys are looking handsome. This was my son's second haircut and he loved it ! We will definitely be getting haircuts there from now on. Not to mention the price is unbeatable !

First visit with my 14 year old. He had a ton of hair to cut off. Mr Larry gave him the best cut I've ever paid the kid to have. We will be back!

Larry and Jim are true barbers. If you need a shave or just a trim they’re always willing and helpful. I personally would never go to another barber but it’s probably due to I think they’re the best.

My two boys are true Locust Barber Shop fans and so am I. Larry, Jim, Jim and Guy take such care in cutting and styling the boys hair. They've been going there since their very first haircuts and absolutely refuse to go anywhere else. My hair is waist long and Larry angles my hair so meticulously. My ends look amazing! Man, woman or child, you can be certain to receive outstanding service at Locust Barber Shop.
